It is a cute property close to Moyogalpa - you can walk over a remote street along the lake or we had an ATV rented. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was especially a highlight!

Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.

Great hostel, beds have personal fans in ensuite showers. There are a few bugs but its like that in ometepe. Its like staying in a forest. Would definitely recommend!

She helped us with everything, we got sick and she literally took care of us. The location is great and the rooms are big enough with private bathroom, the breakfast was amazing as well.

It was friendly, quite the garden was a nice place to relax .the breakfast was really nice and included in the price. It was about a 15-minute walk from town.

El Pital, Chocolate Paradise has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Balgue. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 3 km of Santo Domingo Beach. I loved everything about El Pital! It’s a wonderful place immersed in nature. They have great food and many ingredients are coming straight from their garden. Also the cacao ceremonies and daily yoga classes are amazing. The staff is lovely and always helpful. I did the cacao tour with Justin and it was so insightful. I highly recommend staying here. I‘ll definitely be back someday :)
