We absolutely loved staying at Rancho Tranquillo. It is right across the lake so you can enjoy swimming and the sunsets. Daniella & Tony are very welcoming and friendly. We had a very delicious breakfast made by Daniella. Their property is also so great, there are all types of animals running around and you can pick fresh mangoes from their mango tree. They were also kind enough to let us leave some of our luggage so that we could rent a scooter more easily and travel around the island.

Aia, terrassi, restorani ja baariga hostel La Urraca Loca asub Balgue'is. Grillimisvõimalusega majutusasutus asub Maderase vulkaanist 12 km kaugusel. Great location in Balgue and the place is surrounded by nature, and despite this it is very clean. The owners are super kind and you can sense their love for this place. Tasty breakfast (homemade bread) and food available at the hostel (good italian food for lunch and dinner as one of the owners is Italian!). They were happy to provide advice and information on what to do in the area. Communal space upstairs was amazing and relaxing. The chickens running around the garden was giving exactly the vibes you get around Ometepe Island. Loved it here.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkimise, ühise puhkeruumi ja terrassiga hostel Life is Good asub Moyogalpas, 39 km kaugusel Maderase vulkaanist. Kohapeal on turismiinfo, pakihoid ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. I loved the atmosphere of the hostel. In the evening time they had candles everywhere and lights. It was so beautiful. They also have a lookout place where you can see the volcano during the day and stars at night time. It was a super quiet and chill place. They also had kitties which is a big bonus.

Aiaga hostel Cocos asub Moyogalpas. Kohapeal on terrass, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Hosteli igal toal on terrass, kust avaneb vaade mägedele. The host! She is amazing!! She helped us with everything, we got sick and she literally took care of us. The location is great and the rooms are big enough with private bathroom, the breakfast was amazing as well.

Rainbow Caravan Hostel asub Las Pilases, 17 km kaugusel Maderase vulkaanist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja restoran. Majutusasutuses on ühine köök ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

See väike pereettevõte asub Altagraciast vaid 2,5 km kaugusel. Hotelli ümbritseb loodus ning läheduses on Ogo de Agua, Altagracia, Vulcano looduskaitseala ja palju muud. Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.

El Pital, Chocolate Paradise asub Balgue'is. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum, terrass ja restoran. Santo Domingo rand on 3 km ja Maderase vulkaan 11 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on baar ja erarand. The Place is incredible the view out of the room amazing. El Pital is the best pleace to eat for me in ometepe.

Hostal Casa Moreno asub Moyogalpas, 200 meetri kaugusel kesklinnast. Selles kolmetärnihostelis on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Hosteli tubades on riidekapp. Majutusasutusel Hostal Casa Moreno on terrass. nice clean pool. bedroom was spacious and clean. The property also has lovey views of the volcano and a good roof terrace. They also offer a good cheap breakfast.
