The ranch is beautiful and spaceous with lots of hammocks and spots to hang out. Daniela and Tony are the absolute best, so kind and helpful. There is only one dorm, so not that many people, and because of that it feels like a small family. The ranch is 15 minute walk from the town/ferry, so it is nice and quiet. The breakfasts are amazing and really good value, and one day we had a family dinner, which was delicious. You are surrounded by animals and flowers and trees, even mango-trees which you can help yourself from! They organise volcano tour (with delicious packed lunch), kayak and laundry if you need. This was my favourite place to stay on my trip, everyone should go visit this ranch!!

Hostel Life is Good er staðsett í Moyogalpa, 39 km frá Maderas-eldfjallinu, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og verönd. I loved the atmosphere of the hostel. In the evening time they had candles everywhere and lights. It was so beautiful. They also have a lookout place where you can see the volcano during the day and stars at night time. It was a super quiet and chill place. They also had kitties which is a big bonus.

Hostal Casa Moreno er staðsett í Moyogalpa, 200 metrum frá miðbænum. Þetta 3-stjörnu farfuglaheimili býður upp á ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet. Herbergin á farfuglaheimilinu eru með fataskáp. I stayed at hotel Casa Moreno for one night and I enjoyed it. Great staff and very good location. The breakfast was available, renting bikes and other things were available too. Staff was great help and could some English but we spoke Spanish mostly. The courtyard was wonderful place to take breakfast. I would stay here again. I liked the balcony which has a perfect view of the Volcano Conception.

She helped us with everything, we got sick and she literally took care of us. The location is great and the rooms are big enough with private bathroom, the breakfast was amazing as well.

The place was very clean and tidy, tranquil, and no noise at night which is rare in Nicaragua because there's always someone making some noise. The food was quality, homemade vegan goodness. Making a fire was cool and it has all the modern amenities like a fridge and cooking equipment so you can bring beer. Didn't have any bugs unlike some of the other hostels i stayed in on Ometepe. It's quite a good location equidistance between the two towns and near the start of Volcan Concepción. I recommend renting an ATV rather than a scooter at the port and picking it up in Ometepe, don't trust the people on the San Jorge side. The hostel also offers scooter rental although I picked mine up at port. Very photogenic hostel and peaceful.

Great location with exceptional view on the volcano. The host is super nice and helpful. Rooms were clean. Overall great!
