Love the idea of a double bed in a dorm room. There was lots of privacy thanks to the curtain. The upstairs chilling area was really nice, and loved the yoga mats and blocks, as well as hammock and comfy chairs. Good sized kitchen. Owner friendly and helpful, as were the volunteers and other guests.

Excelente ubicación, a 1 min de la playa, supermercados y bares. Instalaciones limpias y cuarto muy amplio y cómodo. El personal muy agradable, María, Lucas y Mía muy atentos y cálidos.

Steps away to the Colonia Playa entrance of Marino Ballena National Park with super convenient and free access to Uvita Beach before 7am. Safely able to stroll the beach at 5:30am and walk the Whale's Tail at low tide. At daybreak, thoroughly appreciated the immensity of the expanded beach and sandbar. Had the park, with the company of birds, the waves, and crabs basically all to myself, except for another person, way at a distance. Many tall trees around the hostel, with howling monkeys as alarm clocks. Saw sloth for two days. Playa Uvita bus stop from San Jose, Dominical or Quepos (not Tracopa terminal or town center) is 10 minutes walk, turning from main road and walking all the way to Playa la Colonia (aka Chaman) park entrance.

I love this place and highly recommend it. Everything was so clean and exactly as the pictures. It is beautiful, comfortable, and food was amazing. Also, the staff is so nice and welcoming. This is a great option if you want to disconnect and being in middle of the nature. Very close to the beach and 20 mins to drive to the town.

Had a wonderful stay & experience! Super friendly & warm family! It was a pleasure discovering your finca. Place is gorgeous, located in the middle of the forest. Gardens are vast, lots of flora & beautiful wildlife (lots of birds, parrots, hummingbird).. It was a nice little break. Cabin is huge, it is rustic but it is nicely equipped with everything you might need. I shared a dinner with the family & the volunteers helping on the farm, delicious food cooked by the mum, it was lovely. They were very helpful, arranged a last min night tour with David Garro that was great for herping & photographing wildlife. It felt good to finally feel like sharing with locals & experience it. I would highly recommend anyone this place if you wish to get immersed in the culture and find some quietness & nature.

La Casa Encantada - Manuel Antonio - Aire Acondicionado - Wifi - Estacionamiento - Max 5 Guest se encuentra en Manuel Antonio, a 2,3 km de El Santuario Canopy Adventure Tour y a 3,3 km de Playa... Excellent choice to live in the area, very neat a spacious (2-bedroom house). A bit far from the center so you need a car to get there, but it is surrounded by forest, so we saw iguanas, howling monkeys and scarlet aras from there.
