Situated in Uvita, 3 km from Uvita Beach, Shipwrecked Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. All is new, very good beds, nice vibes, fantastic place for relaxing on the top, good kitchen, nice conversations, helpful owner, nice paintings on the wall, very clean room and bed, I can’t recommend it very well.

Set in Santa Teresa Beach, 300 metres from Santa Teresa Beach, ICO Living Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The owner Marco was very attentive and kindly helped me booking a van from San Jose airport to the hotel in Santa Teresa. Him, Guada and Lucas were very friendly, observant and extremely helpful whenever I had questions about the hotel or Santa Teresa (thanks guys you're the best!). The room and bathroom (shared) were constantly cleaned throughout my stay (7 days), towels were provided and replaced. The AC in the room worked very well, specially for sleeping (30C outside). Several hobs in the kitchen made this feel uncrowded, there was a lot of fridge space. The beach was a 2 min walk from the hotel. Nearest super market (Rony's 2) was 5 min walking. Several clothing shops, ice cream shops and restaurants were in a walking distance.

Located in Dos Brazos, Bolita Trails and Lodging features a garden and a bar. The hostel also provides free WiFi and free private parking. At the hostel every room comes with bed linen and towels. This is a true gem. One of the last of its kind. A beautiful, affordable, tropical mountain retreat in the rainforest with more trails than we could hike in the extent of our stay. The owners were amazingly accommodating and great at communication. The communal cooking facilities were excellent.

Casa bohio surf features a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Jacó. The good: Chill, new, laid back hostel. A minute walk from the beach. We stayed in a private room. It was very clean and quiet at night and I had the best sleep! Room was cool enough with efficient fans and mesh over the windows to keep bugs out. Clean bathroom, well equipped kitchen. The host, Sebastian, was friendly and easy to talk to. He has put a lot of work into making a beautiful accommodation.

The Cafecito Surfhouse - Santa Teresa is set in Santa Teresa Beach, within 1 km of Carmen Beach and 16 km of Montezuma Waterfal. Very cozy hostel with very nice owners who will leave you as friends. Everything is very clean and well thought out. The hostel is quiet and offers surfing lessons. It was just perfect and I would stay there again anytime.

Situated in Playa hermosa, 100 metres from Playa Hermosa, Dream Surf House Santa Teresa (Playa Hermosa) features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. I love this place and highly recommend it. Everything was so clean and exactly as the pictures. It is beautiful, comfortable, and food was amazing. Also, the staff is so nice and welcoming. This is a great option if you want to disconnect and being in middle of the nature. Very close to the beach and 20 mins to drive to the town.

Located in Pavones, 500 metres from Playa Pavones, Surf Shack Room #1 provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. At the hostel, all rooms are equipped with a terrace. Private, close to town. Heaps of monkeys, toucans, lizards, sloths around. Comfy beds. Fab host. Epic kitchen!

They just recently opened but manage to do so well! Great staff, spacious and clean rooms, nice social area with a pool and a yoga shala. Just the place to stay at when in Santa Teresa!

Tässä kauniissa paikassa vallitsi entisaikojen reppureissaajien ystävällinen ja avulias henki. Yksi miellyttävimmistä hostelleista, jossa olen koskaan vieraillut vuosikymmeniä reppureissattuani. Henkilökunta ja vieraat sulautuivat yhdeksi ja samaksi seurapiiriksi illallisen aikaan. Jokainen teki kulki omia reittejään päivän aikana-joku makasi rannassa ja snorklaili, toiset osallistuivat kilpikonnien suojeluun, kolmannet lähtivät järjestetyille retkille Corcovadon kansallispuistoon tai muualle. Jotkut kävelivät rantoja pitkin ja nauttivat monimuotoisesta luonnosta. Jo pelkästään makaamalla riippumatossa ja kävelemällä hostellin pihalla saattoi nähdä monia lajeja, joita ei muualla näe.

The bamboo cabin was really nice, beautiful, 100% handmade by the owner Mike, clean and so confortable ! The house is on middle of jungle, really peacefully !
