The location is excelent, in the old town, 5 minutes to the bus station, 5 minutes to the ocean and the marina. The room was clean, the bathroom was big and we had a room with balcony, in the left side - mountain view and in the right side you could see the ocean. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. Also, they welcomed us with Madeira wine and traditional honey cake :) Overall, a great experience.

The guest house provides mountain views, a terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Great view and awesome place to rest. This part of Madeira is much more greener than anywhere else. The host is very helpful and friendly!! Helped us to rent a car for a good price and offered us pick up/drop off from airport with reasonable price.

At the homestay, the units include bed linen and towels. The property was great. Pool, groundskeeping, and staff were amazing! Everything was clean and breakfast every morning was a delight! The pool was a great temperature and plenty of lounge chairs/tables. If you plan on staying here you need to rent a vehicle for the drive is about 10 min up the mountain from the nearest town. No problem for us, very intriguing drive from Ribera Brava/Ponta do Sol!

The location if you travel with car is best, the view is incredible ❤️ The hosta are very nice and helpful. Housenis very calm & peaceful. Kitchen is well-equiped and hosts even offer some products from their garden ^^ Highly recommend if you don’t mind not having the private bathroom. Thank you guys and best of luck!

The Goat's Place provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 2.9 km of Palmeiras Beach and 15 km of Marina do Funchal. It is located 26 km from Santana's traditional houses and features a shared kitchen. The homestay offers sea views and a sun terrace. Everything was wonderful! There were fresh eggs, bread, fruits and juice every morning and Antonio is a super nice host. It‘s definitely a less touristic area, which we really liked! We not only had a wonderful stay but also a great chat with him. We‘‘re definitely planing to come back one day. Thank you for this great stay!

The view was stunning. I definitely recommend it.

The owner is simply amazing - he invited us for drinks and regularly brought us some fruits, always ready to help and share tips. We had really wonderful vacation because of hospitality of the owner. Free parking on street. Two minutes walk to great poncha bar. Five minutes drive to Calheta Beach. Twenty minutes drive to PR6 levada hikes.

The team was so nice! Ate at many good restaurants nearby. The studio coffee, Uaucacau chocolate shop, Se boutique hotel rooftop bar, revolution bar are a few. We found Sofia at bestdestination dot Maderia (through Instagram). She is amazing for transfers and tours. Amazing!!!! We loved Maderia!
