Family run Hotel just a short walk from the beach/town centre.We where in Room 10,second floor at the rear looking over the town towards the mountains.The owner was friendly and willing to answer any questions we had.Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The Hotel in all areas was spotlessly clean.Bed was firm and very comfortable.We would definitely look at staying here again.

The location was excellent! The team was so nice! Ate at many good restaurants nearby. The studio coffee, Uaucacau chocolate shop, Se boutique hotel rooftop bar, revolution bar are a few. We found Sofia at bestdestination dot Maderia (through Instagram). She is amazing for transfers and tours. Amazing!!!! We loved Maderia!

Location location location. Really nice area, close to the cathedral, tons of restaurants, cafes and shopping. Well connected to local transportation. The hotel was safe and clean. Staff and service were great. The room was spacey, clean, and included the basic amenities. Excellent WiFi coverage.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Property is located near a supermarket, bus stop and with a parking lot available too. It is spacious and equipped with all necessary items for a comfortable stay.
We were welcomed by the lovely host who explained us everything we needed to know, and went out of her way to return my lost items back on a later date. She was very communicative and friendly, all of my questions were answered.
The apartment is very light and big. We loved the different areas that were created (watch tv, read a book, play pool, ...) Everything we needed was there, the place is well equiped. I loved watching the people walk by on the square below us. Ruben was a great host, it was very easy to get in touch with him.
Very beautiful spacious room, nice interieur with style and lots of wooden furniture/elements, hot and strong shower, shared, well equipped kitchen (i liked the different teas you can combine with a description of their medicinal use), a really beautiful terrace, everything immaculate clean, perfect location in the center of machico but absolutely quiet, near to the beach, cafes, restaurants, bus stop etc., all not more than 3min away, and last but not least a very lovely host. Can absolutely recommend this place
Everything you need for a good vacation in Madeira, if you want to feel the real, not the touristic, Madeira. The kindest host, truly welcoming and warm attitude. The restaurant serves traditional Madeira cuisine, locals also love this place. Fantastic location with the superb views.

The accommodation is located in the garden of the owners. It is conveniently close to the airport and big supermarkets, but definitely a 'quiet place'. The apartment is very comfortable, you can sit outside in the beautiful garden and the lovely hosts will do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your stay. Would definitely recommend!
