The views are INCREDIBLE from the wrap around porch on the second level and the rooftop terrace, so plan to be at the house for sunset sometimes. The price is extremely affordable compared to other places on the island, and it is convenient with easily accessible parking along the street. They have eggs from the chickens on the property available for guests, and the kitchen for guests is large with a fridge and has items available for cooking. Oh, and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful; they give great advice about adventuring on the island.

The location was excellent! The team was so nice! Ate at many good restaurants nearby. The studio coffee, Uaucacau chocolate shop, Se boutique hotel rooftop bar, revolution bar are a few. We found Sofia at bestdestination dot Maderia (through Instagram). She is amazing for transfers and tours. Amazing!!!! We loved Maderia!

Location location location. Really nice area, close to the cathedral, tons of restaurants, cafes and shopping. Well connected to local transportation. The hotel was safe and clean. Staff and service were great. The room was spacey, clean, and included the basic amenities. Excellent WiFi coverage.

Oh my goodness, such a lovely place! Everything was so beautiful at the hotel. Lovely gardens filled with flowers, inside and pool are beautiful. very clean and comfortable room. thoughtful little welcoming gifts including a postcard from the owners/staff with a heart warming note. Great location, beautiful scenery & views, modern interior design. Marius was a great host. He made sure we got breakfast every morning. I am impressed that he's done/ built most of it by himself, it made sense that it wasn't perfect. Everything was brand new.
The property was stunning with beautiful views to wake up to and sleep. A little far from everything but when explored u would come across little corner shops owned by locals.
Lovely tiny house! No wifi though. And parking on the street - in the little one that house faces (but mind the locals, they use it to park their cars) or next to main road.

Lovelly appartement with beautifull garden, we spend here two weeks with our 2-year old son and enjoyed it very much. Lovely hosts which are always available to help you with anything. From this location you can reach (almost?) every other spot on the island within 1 hour by car.
Gorete was a great host and the property very nice and spotless! Main bedroom was huge, other 2 bedrooms very big too! Nice dinning area upstairs and nice garden to chill outside in the evenings.
host is amazing, very friendly, gave just tone of useful recommendations. East to get place, you need to park outside on the road, as locals do. rooms and bathrooms super clean and astonishing amazing view. we had some barbecue with fish and while we had dinner neighbors played music, so it was just amazing vibe.
Everything was wonderful. Catia met us and helped with parking, showed the house and made us feel as at home. The house has a charming garden with great view and places for the rest and breakfast, everything was fresh and clean and made for your comfortable staying. Catia is great host and her house is the place where you want to return as soon as possible.
