The location was excellent! The team was so nice! Ate at many good restaurants nearby. The studio coffee, Uaucacau chocolate shop, Se boutique hotel rooftop bar, revolution bar are a few. We found Sofia at bestdestination dot Maderia (through Instagram). She is amazing for transfers and tours. Amazing!!!! We loved Maderia!

Location location location. Really nice area, close to the cathedral, tons of restaurants, cafes and shopping. Well connected to local transportation. The hotel was safe and clean. Staff and service were great. The room was spacey, clean, and included the basic amenities. Excellent WiFi coverage.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Location was perfect. The proximity to the airport, to the sea, to Funchal is ideal. It is also a quiet neighborhood with some restaurants / snackbars where we get to meet locals and others on vacation as well.
The apartment was big and clean and we got everything we needed to cook and to do laundry.
Aleixo and Cristina are lovely hosts. We arrived late at night and Cristina was there to welcome us with a great mood. For the way back, we needed to leave really early to catch our flight and Aleixo offered to take us to the airport.
The accommodation has everything you need: fridge, kitchen, large balcony with sea view, comfortable bed, clean, good location and even a small welcome present. We really did not find anything to complain about, we would come back without any hesitation! :)
The accomodation was located at truly beautiful spot with breathtaking views at the ocean. It was nice and clean, really quiet. The host family was kind, always helpful and generous. 10/10, we would definitely come back one day.

Great appartment, well equipped and a super nice view over the ocean from the balcony. Busstation is right next to the apartment, parking outside is also available. Great host as well, flexible and willing to inform you about Madeira.
Apartment is very comfortable & clean. Small balcony with ocean view was a nice place for having a dinner. Maria was a great host, she waited for us with local cakes and helped us with check in day after our planned arrival (as we couldnt land on the island earlier). Definitely great place to stay - location is good, parking place is also right in front of the building.
