The location was excellent! The team was so nice! Ate at many good restaurants nearby. The studio coffee, Uaucacau chocolate shop, Se boutique hotel rooftop bar, revolution bar are a few. We found Sofia at bestdestination dot Maderia (through Instagram). She is amazing for transfers and tours. Amazing!!!! We loved Maderia!

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Very lovely host! He helped us out to get around the area. We had everything we needed a washing machine with a drying option, a good and well equipped kitchen and a clean bathroom. Very comfortable bed and pillows and huge open space. Good parking spaces available be careful not to park in the designated police car spaces.
An idyllic house, built in 1896 and recently completely refurbished. The ocean view is spectacular. The garden is beautiful. The outdoor bbq was used a lot. Situated in a neighborhood where the locals live. Very nice!
Great hosts. Very friendly and helpful! Ana picked us up from the airport and dropped us back as well when we were leaving. We were welcomed with a lovely home made dinner made by her husband. We really enjoyed our stay there.
Enrique is a good host. His communication is excellent. When you are on holiday it's so much to arrange but Enrique was making things easier for you. I was late check in but he gave a clear instructions and arrange airport taxi for an early morning flight for me. The apartment is clean and funky. I like the idea of using recycled materials. Very reasonable price and near the airport only 3 minutes away. if you arrive late or leaving early. This is an ideal for you.
