The property itself, including our second floor room & common areas were very clean and welcoming. The view from our bedroom was spectacular and the pool + garden were wonderful. The breakfast had many different options and all were very tasty. The hostess at the property was extremely kind and made sure we had everything we needed during our morning meal. Also loved the welcome gift as it was very thoughtful. Free parking in a private lot was a good addition

The location was excellent! The team was so nice! Ate at many good restaurants nearby. The studio coffee, Uaucacau chocolate shop, Se boutique hotel rooftop bar, revolution bar are a few. We found Sofia at bestdestination dot Maderia (through Instagram). She is amazing for transfers and tours. Amazing!!!! We loved Maderia!

Location location location. Really nice area, close to the cathedral, tons of restaurants, cafes and shopping. Well connected to local transportation. The hotel was safe and clean. Staff and service were great. The room was spacey, clean, and included the basic amenities. Excellent WiFi coverage.

Filomena is a great host, it has been a pleasure to meet her. She greeted us with a cake, Madeira wine and orange juice. She has been also very communicative prior and during the stay, The rooms are well kept and clean, in a vintage style. The rooms are in a historical house. Breakfast are nicely served and always on time. Fresh (squeezed) orange juice served each day, fresh fruit and pastry.
Eduardo was a very good host, one of the best we've ever had. He was very friendly, happy, relaxed, accommodating and try to fulfill us every wish. We shared a kitchen and he refills everything we liked and eat daily. We had a beautiful view from the balcony. It was a very nice stay and we were a little sad to leave. Thank you for the experience and the mindfulness input and the opportunity to calm down.

I met interesting people in this hostel. The host family who live on-site are really fun, funny, welcoming and helpful. The beds are good and its great to have only 2 people per room. Easily reachable by car. A good place to be able to travel from to many parts of the island. One morning driving down to Ribeira Brava I was lucky enough to see a huge pod of dolphins swimming past - magic.
Great accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, beautifully cared garden, swimming pool /shared/, sea view, and a car park. Lovely hosts and friendly neighbours.
We liked the cozy, private home, it was clean and beautiful, fully equipped with all the things a person can need when it's travelling. They did a great job with the garden also, the only regret is that we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy it. We will definitely come back! If I could give a hundred stars, I would! The host is helpful, understanding and kind! Thank you for making our stay in Madeira better! 😌
