It is located 26 km from Ella Rock and offers a housekeeping service. The guest house features family rooms. This is a genuine feedback. One of the best service we have had in 4.5 months of travelling across Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia. The owner was superb in helping us out. He text before hand if we needed picking up from bus stop for free. He has his own tuk tuk and took us to bus stops and showed us on our way to sites we were visiting. Hit water for tea/coffee was always available in beautiful tea pots. He offered to cook us an evening meal in his home and invited the other single guest. Amazing tasty food of dhal, pumpkin, coconut and herb mix, rice. Only 900 rupees each. He then dropped us off to the bus stop 8-10 mins away for free. We obviously offered him money but he was more keen that we wrote of our experiences of the accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

21 km from Situlpawwa, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated property set in Kataragama and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a terrace. The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Whioe experience is amazing. The facilities are wonderful, very tidy and clean. We visited the spice garden. The staff is incredible. They organized the safari for us, with pickup and dropoff at their hotel. The food is the best we tasted in Sri Lanka. They impressed us with buffalo yogurt and honey for dessert. For finish, they provided us the taxi to our next destination. Highly recommend them.

Offering a garden and garden view, Lake Front Yala Safari is located in Kataragama, 18 km from Tissa Wewa and 18 km from Situlpawwa. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The guest house features a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

This the best place to stay for visiting Danigala (the Alien Mountain) - 1 h ride on tuk tuk and 40 minutes on a bike/car. I wholeheartedly recommend Nobel Regency for anyone visiting Bibile – it’s a place where you’ll find not just excellent service but genuine care and kindness.

A good location for a hassle-free stay in Tanamalwila, Mayka's luxury holiday homes is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a garden, terrace and parking on-site among other facilities. The property is located 31 km from Udawalawe National Park, 30 km from Tissa Wewa and 46 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Featuring a private entrance, the guest house allows guests to maintain their privacy. Big room and bathroom with space to eat (so we could eat in our room instead of the restaurant upstairs, which was very cute tho...). Best wifi we had during our trip. Great location for Lunugamvehera Safari (we did not book it with them, but it seemed like we could because they also had a safari jeep). The owner speaks dutch and is very nice! We arranged a well priced tuktuk with her, that took us to Dickwella at 7 pm after our safari (about 2.30-3h drive). We enjoyed our stay and definitly recommend when visiting the Lunugamvehera side of Yala national park. Glad there was a restaurant in the hotel, because there did not seem to be much in the area (we didn't mind tho, we were only here for the safari :))

Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.

The host is just the sweetest, and offers an amazing safari to Yala at much cheaper than third party websites, and he grew up spotting animals so you are in good hands (we even saw a leopard!). I cannot recommend this place more, it is quite special!

Amazing clean home stay located in a peaceful village nearby a lake. Run by some really kind staff who are extremely accommodating! They are able to provide everything you need and cook tasty meals upon request. Also have options to see wild elephants, visit local village, or go on a boat ride. I injured my knee before arriving and they also took me to see a special Ayurvedic doctor. Would absolutely stay again!
