Situato a Wellawaya, il THOMASHA HOLIDAY INN offre un giardino. Godrete di una vista sul giardino. Le sistemazioni sono dotate di area salotto. Un host davvero simpatico è super disponibile. È venuto a prenderci alla stazione dei bus con il suo tuk tuk gratuitamente visto che la casa è a due km di distanza. Abbiamo usufruito del servizio lavanderia e abbiamo anche cenato da loro. Riso e curry davvero molto buono. Cittadina poco turistica , ma nei dintorni ci sono davvero tanti lunghi da visitare. Abbiamo visto cascate e tanti templi bellissimi dove regnava la pace e il silenzio. davvero felice di aver soggiornato quì per due giorni. Vale davvero la pena uscire dalle rotte turistiche! Non posso che consigliare quest' alloggio

Struttura a conduzione familiare. Dal momento in cui sono arrivato mi sono sentito trattato come un amico di famiglia. Colazione e cena erano strepitose. Ma questo posto è più di un semplice homestay: la signora Indira, medico, ha una passione per le orchidee e tutta la struttura è circondata da fiori; il signor Dasarath ha lavorato tutta la vita nella coltivazione del tè e si vede, oltre ad affacciarsi su campi di riso (le piante di riso non sono immerse nell’acqua come in Europa) la struttura ha una zona dedicata alla coltivazione di cannella, pepe e altre spezie e frutti che vengono lavorati in un casolare dietro la casa principale; l’intenzione del signor Dasarath è di divulgare conoscenza ai propri ospiti e basta dimostrare un po’ di interesse per essere invitati a visitare tutto quello che la struttura ha da offrire.

An amazing property and family. The room was huge and spacious with fan and AC and the bathroom was big. The whole property was very clean and tidy. The owner, his wife and daughter were lovely and made us so welcome. The daughters English is fantastic and she loves to practice it with you. This has to be the best place we stayed in 16 days in Sri Lanka. If you are doing a safari to Yala then this place is so close to the entrance (closer thank Tisso) and the owner can organise a jeep at a very good price. The owners wife even allowed me to watch and help her cook our dinner in her kitchen. The food was amazing. We would definitely recommend this place.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Hotel Serugahawatta is set in Wellawaya. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Struttura perfetta per chi cerca uno stop prima di Ella. L’hotel è molto semplice, pulito e tranquillo. Il proprietario è molto premuroso, ci ha aiutato a muoverci in zona ed è stato molto accogliente. Il giardino è molto bello e ben tenuto.

Offering river views, Forest Tree Top Holiday Resort is an accommodation located in Buttala, 36 km from Kataragama Temple and 37 km from Buduruwagala Temple. I travel extensively and the stay with Bathiya’s family at Forest Treetop holiday resort was a highlight of my trips. Bathiya picked us up from the main road and drove us in his jeep to his beautiful treehouse surrounded by farm. We fell in love with the farm immediately . There are all kinds of fruit and vegetables. He took time to explain to us the vegetables and fruit. He also took my son to do gem digging in the river surrounded by monkeys and peacocks. Later he showed us around in his jeep and also took us on a night tour near the farm. His mother cooked an amazing Sri Lankan dinner for us, we felt at home . the next morning he took us on the safari tour in Yala Park. He was amazing at spotting animals and birds . We basically owned the whole park to ourselves because we entered through the Galge entrance and most tourists go to the southern block. This is a place NOT to be missed . And you will feel true Sri Lanka hospitality with Bathiya ! And we miss the dog John

Amazing clean home stay located in a peaceful village nearby a lake. Run by some really kind staff who are extremely accommodating! They are able to provide everything you need and cook tasty meals upon request. Also have options to see wild elephants, visit local village, or go on a boat ride. I injured my knee before arriving and they also took me to see a special Ayurvedic doctor. Would absolutely stay again!

Situato a Yala, lo Yala Avian Eye Safari offre attrezzature per sport acquatici e biciclette gratuite. La struttura vanta un giardino, un salone in comune e un bar. The place is incredibly well built and you can see the love in every detail! Baghya, the host, took us with his PickUp to find elephants and with the tractor to a swimming spot at a river. The food, the family cooks for the guests, is amazing. Everything is clean and well maintained. Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was an amazing experience and really comfortable stay. Cosy room with A/C, it’s large and very clean inside. Stunning nature and the sounds of birds in the morning. Nice breakfast, fragrant tea.
