Big room and bathroom with space to eat (so we could eat in our room instead of the restaurant upstairs, which was very cute tho...). Best wifi we had during our trip. Great location for Lunugamvehera Safari (we did not book it with them, but it seemed like we could because they also had a safari jeep). The owner speaks dutch and is very nice! We arranged a well priced tuktuk with her, that took us to Dickwella at 7 pm after our safari (about 2.30-3h drive). We enjoyed our stay and definitly recommend when visiting the Lunugamvehera side of Yala national park. Glad there was a restaurant in the hotel, because there did not seem to be much in the area (we didn't mind tho, we were only here for the safari :))

From the wonderful food to the genuine kindness that this family provides - this is truly what Sri Lanka is all about. From here, you can also experience a safari with Bhathi on the quieter, less touristy side of Yala National Park. Great job, Bhathi - you are truly a wonderful young man, and we really hope to be back visiting you and your family again!! ❤️

Amazing clean home stay located in a peaceful village nearby a lake. Run by some really kind staff who are extremely accommodating! They are able to provide everything you need and cook tasty meals upon request. Also have options to see wild elephants, visit local village, or go on a boat ride. I injured my knee before arriving and they also took me to see a special Ayurvedic doctor. Would absolutely stay again!

The family atmosphere, the privacy of having a house all to yourself, the breakfasts, being in a natural environment, and those dinners with Mom. "Mom's kitchen."
