Host - Yumiko-san is one of the loveliest hosts I’ve ever met. She was extremely helpful - she informed us of the best route to travel when getting to her place from another city. When we arrived, she recommended a place for dinner, helped us make a reservation and even brought us there. Needless to say the dinner was amazing. She also shared spots that we should visit given our limited time at Mt Fuji. Yumiko-san is also thoughtful - she noticed that I was coughing at night and made a honey lemon drink for me in the morning to have with breakfast (breakfast was also great by the way)!Lastly, Yumiko-san is passionate about hospitality and the Fuji area. She was nothing but welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property - The house is absolutely spotless, cosy and boasts a great view of Mt Fuji. We had everything we needed and left wishing that we had stayed longer!

Guest House Zen is a beachfront property situated in Yamanakako, 18 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 21 km from Lake Kawaguchi. The guest house is right in front the Yamanakako and it is perfect view for Mount Fuji from your room. It is just a small guest house with 3 bedroom, a common area for relaxing and tiny kitchen with all the necessities eg oven, fridge and microwave. The host is a very nice young guy and speak very good English. He is very helpful, recommended nice dinner and activities around the guest house. He even use heater to warm the blanket prior our arrival, very thoughtful.

Offering mountain views, Guesthouse Arakura is an accommodation set in Fujiyoshida, 7 km from Lake Kawaguchi and 25 km from Mount Fuji. The room was large. We have an authentic taste of living in a traditional Japanese home, albeit a very large room. The whole two-storey unit was left all to ourselves after the restaurant below has closed. The host was very kind to have allowed us the use of many of the facilities in the unit, as I believe we were staying for more than 2 nights. There was very thoughtful provision of water and many little packets of tea and snacks as part of the package. All essential facilities (e.g. bathroom, shower, washing machine, dryer) worked well and good.

Amazing staff, super helpful and kind, give us the best suggestions where to go and where to eat. They have free bikes which we use to explore sightseeing. Everything is super clean.

Owner is very good and kind. He explained us about all the room and near by locations even he dropped at us at the Station.

晴家(HALELUYA) Guest House in Fujikawaguchiko provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace. amazing property with a very very cute living room, kitchen & room. a small but boutique guesthouse. The host and her family are so welcoming and helpful. they made us feel like home away from home.

Located in Fujiyoshida, 8-minutes walk from Fujisan Station, Hostel Fuji Matsuyama Base features a garden and a terrace in a 60 year-old renovated Western-Japanese mix decorated home. We stayed 2 nights in the Japanese style private room. It was clean and comfortable. Love the common area where you can meet other travellers.
