Everything went smoothly and the staff, eventhough we didn’t meet them, was very friendly and helpful in regards to any questions we had regarding public transport.

Offering a shared lounge and mountain view, Guest House 合歓木（ねむ） is set in Hokuto, 41 km from Canora Hall and 34 km from Kamisuwa Station. Beautiful peaceful guesthouse with everything you may need. The owner is a lovely lady who was incredibly helpful.

Guesthouse Arakura er gististaður í Fujiyoshida, 7 km frá Kawaguchi-vatni og 25 km frá Fuji-fjalli. Þaðan er útsýni til fjalla. Really amazing location for exploring Fujikawaguchiko and quick access to Chureito Pagoda which I couldn't match anywhere else. The staff were really nice and welcoming. They operate a cafe under the room where we grabbed a nice coffee from. The room was traditional Japanese style which for us is always more interesting. Nice and cozy!

Great stay in Fujikawaguchiko! The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left. The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there). Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!

晴家(HALELUYA) Guest House in Fujikawaguchiko provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace. It is a typical Japanese house with comfy furnitures. The owners are welcoming and helpful. They live in the house so some ameneties are shared with them. The house is a bit far from everything but there is a 7 eleven a minute´s walk which is convenient for diner. Free bikes are available so it is easy to visit the lakes and the pagoda, a sightseeing bus stop is located near the house for those who don’t like bikes.

Hana Hostel Fujisan er staðsett í Yoshida og býður upp á sameiginlega setustofu. Gististaðurinn er með sameiginlegt eldhús og miðasölu fyrir gesti. Hana san & Satoshi san are the most amazing hostel hosts! They are such kind people and truely look after you to make sure you feel at ease. We were given loads of snacks each day, and even a really thoughtful gift as we left. The hostel was really clean, there were two toilets and two showers so we never encountered any issue with having to wait to use either. Thank you so much ❤️

Hostel Fuji Matsuyama Base er staðsett í Fujiyoshida, í 8 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Fujisan-stöðinni. Hiro was very accommodating, we were able to check in when we needed and he was very helpful in showing us around. There are plenty of resources for local recommendations and a lovely view of mount Fuji as you leave every day 🤗 the breakfast was phenomenal!!

Renovated in September 2018, Guesthouseほのぼの offers an accommodation with free WiFi in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. Have a free pick up and drop off service from bus station and the room is so clean
