The place was very nice and we were lucky to have a room with a view on Mount Fuji. Everything went smoothly and the staff, eventhough we didn’t meet them, was very friendly and helpful in regards to any questions we had regarding public transport.

Really amazing location for exploring Fujikawaguchiko and quick access to Chureito Pagoda which I couldn't match anywhere else. The staff were really nice and welcoming. They operate a cafe under the room where we grabbed a nice coffee from. The room was traditional Japanese style which for us is always more interesting. Nice and cozy!

Habitacion NIIYA Mt Fuji ligger i Fujikawaguchiko, 1,1 km fra søen Kawaguchi og 4,4 km fra Fuji-Q Highland. Der tilbydes værelser med aircondition og fælles badeværelse. Great stay in Fujikawaguchiko! The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left. The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there). Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!

Guest House ligger inden for 2 km fra Kawaguchi-søen i Fujikawaguchiko, æ'ø®(HALELUYA) og tilbyder gratis cykler og have. Et smukt gammelt hus, renoveret ind til et Guest House/ Hotel. Familien der ejer det, tog godt imod os og vi følte os meget velkomne og tilpas. Vi havde en hel unik oplevelse med at bo her og ville komme tilbage uden tvivl. Faciliteterne var pæne og det var så hyggeligt at sidde på terrassen og kunne se Mount Fuji. Familien der ejer stedet er de sødeste mennesker, vi endte en aften, at grille med dem i haven foran huset og det var den hyggeligste aften vi havde i Japan. De har investeret i en masse cykler man låner gratis og det giver virkelig en dejlig frihed for at se byen. Deres engelsk er også godt og de er søde til at svare på spørgsmål. Jeg vil klart anbefale Camping værelset. Det er stort hyggeligt og har privat view udover Mount Fuji. Det er en lille familie på fire der ejer stedet og ikke bor der fuld tid, så receptionen har begrænset åbningstider for check in, vær opmærksom på dette! Vi informerede dem hvornår vi kom og ønskede at stille tasker før check in. Der stod de klar til at tage imod os med et smil, selvom det var uden for åbningstiderne. Så bare husk at informere dem :-)

Hana Hostel Fujisan ligger i Yoshida og har fælles opholdsstue. Overnatningsstedet har fælles køkken og sælger billetter. Hakone ligger 40 km fra pensionatet, mens Fuji ligger 38 km derfra. Hana san & Satoshi san are the most amazing hostel hosts! They are such kind people and truely look after you to make sure you feel at ease. We were given loads of snacks each day, and even a really thoughtful gift as we left. The hostel was really clean, there were two toilets and two showers so we never encountered any issue with having to wait to use either. Thank you so much ❤️

Hostel Fuji Matsuyama Base ligger i Fujiyoshida, 8 minutters gang fra Fujisan Station. Der er have og terrasse i et 60 år gammelt renoveret hjem indrettet i vestjapansk blanding. Hiro was very accommodating, we were able to check in when we needed and he was very helpful in showing us around. There are plenty of resources for local recommendations and a lovely view of mount Fuji as you leave every day 🤗 the breakfast was phenomenal!!

Renovated in September 2018, Guesthouseほのぼの offers an accommodation with free WiFi in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. Have a free pick up and drop off service from bus station and the room is so clean
