Abbiamo scelto la stanza con il tatami e il futon perché volevamo provarli e siamo rimasti molto sorpresi di quanto fossero comodi! Abbiamo dormito benissimo. La mattina dopo ci siamo svegliati all’alba per provare ad andare a vedere il monte Fuji, e quando siamo tornati Yumiko ci ha accolti con la sua colaIzione abbondante e saporita. La casa è abbastanza vicino a Fuji Station e c’è un 7/11 nelle vicinanze.

The place was very nice and we were lucky to have a room with a view on Mount Fuji. Everything went smoothly and the staff, eventhough we didn’t meet them, was very friendly and helpful in regards to any questions we had regarding public transport.

Really amazing location for exploring Fujikawaguchiko and quick access to Chureito Pagoda which I couldn't match anywhere else. The staff were really nice and welcoming. They operate a cafe under the room where we grabbed a nice coffee from. The room was traditional Japanese style which for us is always more interesting. Nice and cozy!

Great stay in Fujikawaguchiko! The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left. The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there). Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!

The owners are welcoming and helpful. They live in the house so some ameneties are shared with them. The house is a bit far from everything but there is a 7 eleven a minute´s walk which is convenient for diner. Free bikes are available so it is easy to visit the lakes and the pagoda, a sightseeing bus stop is located near the house for those who don’t like bikes.

Hana san & Satoshi san are the most amazing hostel hosts! They are such kind people and truely look after you to make sure you feel at ease. We were given loads of snacks each day, and even a really thoughtful gift as we left. The hostel was really clean, there were two toilets and two showers so we never encountered any issue with having to wait to use either. Thank you so much ❤️

Located just 1.8 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Hostel Fuji Matsuyama Base provides accommodation in Fujiyoshida with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Hiro was very accommodating, we were able to check in when we needed and he was very helpful in showing us around. There are plenty of resources for local recommendations and a lovely view of mount Fuji as you leave every day 🤗 the breakfast was phenomenal!!
