She warmly welcomed us, was very friendly and super helpful when recommending things to see around Mt Fuji. We highly recommend this wonderful place.

Situated in Minamitsuru in the Yamanashi region, with Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Kawaguchi Ohashi Bridge nearby, 富士晴 Guest House features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as... It was a large house, updated, very clean and comfortable! The views from the house were beautiful and peaceful!

Guest House Zen is a beachfront property situated in Yamanakako, 18 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 21 km from Lake Kawaguchi. This place is umbelievably beautiful, breathtaking and pure magic, is a guesthouse with only 3 rooms, but 2 of them have an amazing view of mt fuji and the lake, it was and incredible stay, there are plenty activities to do on the lake and although there are very few options for eating nearby and also you have to see what are their schedules, you might probably have to survive with seven eleven food which is a 10 min walk, but you have a big kitchen in here so I don't see any problem with that, it's also very very empty everything in the town at least in low season but that wasn't a problem for us, also you can take a bus and go to chureito pagoda and fuji q highland and some other amazing views of mt fuji, if you want to see mt fuji I believe this is the best place to do that. The owner is really nice and helpful, before check out we talk with him and make a cultural exchange for more than an hour, he might be the best english speaking japanese person in the country.

Offering a shared lounge and mountain view, Guest House 合歓木（ねむ） is set in Hokuto, 41 km from Canora Hall and 34 km from Kamisuwa Station. Beautiful peaceful guesthouse with everything you may need. The owner is a lovely lady who was incredibly helpful.

Offering mountain views, Guesthouse Arakura is an accommodation set in Fujiyoshida, 7 km from Lake Kawaguchi and 25 km from Mount Fuji. The room was large. We have an authentic taste of living in a traditional Japanese home, albeit a very large room. The whole two-storey unit was left all to ourselves after the restaurant below has closed. The host was very kind to have allowed us the use of many of the facilities in the unit, as I believe we were staying for more than 2 nights. There was very thoughtful provision of water and many little packets of tea and snacks as part of the package. All essential facilities (e.g. bathroom, shower, washing machine, dryer) worked well and good.

Located in Fujikawaguchiko, 1.7 km from Fuji-Q Highland, Fuji Guest House Ao provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking and a terrace. The staff was really helpful. She even provided me with a raincoat when she saw me taking one of the umbrellas since u was riding a bicycle, and it was not safe holding an umbrella while riding the bicycle. The bed was comfortable, and the top floor had a good view of mt fuji. There were free bicycles, umbrellas, ear plugs, snacks, coffee, and candies. The staff will also help you with getting your luggage downstairs.

The room is clean and calm, we got free upgrade to larger room. The location is walking distance from the nearest Fuji bus stop (the green line) The owner is very nice. He offered us a free shuttle service to the station and to Fuji Q Highland Resort.

晴家(HALELUYA) Guest House in Fujikawaguchiko provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace. I absolutely adored the style and decor of the house. It felt very special to be able to see how traditional meets modern, real life in this part of Japan. The family was so lovely and the whole area was just magical!

Featuring a shared lounge, Hana Hostel Fujisan is set in Yoshida. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and buying tickets for guests. Really lovely room in a fantastic location, but the thing that made it our favourite stay throughout all of our Japan trip was Hana and her husband. They were so helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They gave us lots of recommendations for the area and couldn’t do more to help us. I would recommend anyone to stay here and we wish we had stayed for longer! We will definitely be returning.
