Located in Camacha, in a historic building, 10 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta da Moscadinha is a farm stay with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Everything was excellent: comfy and spacious room (large room on the 1st floor, not the ground floor), good bed and pillows, nice view at the garden, very quite, tasty breakfasts, very nice and friendly staff. The isolation could be better, but as it is an old building, the guests are expected to moderate the noise. So this place is excellent for couples looking for a relaxing vacation. The area is popular for fishing and hiking, and car hire is available at the farm stay. If you would like to discover the area, windsurfing, diving and cycling are possible in the surroundings and A Casa Estrelícia-Dourada Garcês can arrange a bicycle rental service. The staff was very welcome with great communication before and during the stay. The room was as in the pictures, with a good view and well equipped. The neighborhood is adorable and great to explore by walking. You have restaurants, playgrounds, stores, and nature in a short distance.

Breakfast is included in the rate and the guests are the ones preparing their own meals at their accommodation. We provide the following food for breakfast: farm eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee, cheese,ham, butter and homemade jams. Guests can also enjoy the barbecue area. The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Venue was within walking distance from locally owned restaurants, cafes, and small market. Very quaint. Locals were very friendly & receptive. The Sunday farmers' market is a must see and do

Very clean and charming house with lovely swimming pool and kind owner.

A private entrance leads guests into the farm stay, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and fruits. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Quinta Terezinha is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base to discover the island. The host Laura was so friendly and was really useful in providing information for the shops, restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse was lovely with comfy beds, a great shower and really clean. We didn't really make the most of the outdoor areas, but there are hammocks, a barbeque and sun loungers all with amazing views. As others have mentioned, you will likely become the owner of a couple of cats for your stay which we loved. On arrival, Laura had prepared a welcome hamper with some local exotic fruits, ground coffee and a bottle of Madeira Wine which was a lovely touch. If you run out or want any more fresh produce from the farm then the instructions are to just help yourself. What an amazing stay - just wish we could have stayed longer.
