A beautiful house, sumptuous décor, and friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts, and the restaurant above the hotel was excellent. They also have two restaurants in Funchal, one of which we visited for NYE and it was very good too. (and gave us the guests' discount despite us already having left the hotel).
We particularly enjoyed the comfortable lounge with a raging log fire in the evenings.

We liked pretty much everything about the place. The room was big with equipped kitchen Ann with big balcony with nice view in the mountains and the sea.
For travellers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country-living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts may offer interactive kid-friendly activities or, for couples, a cosy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is often included — you may be collecting the eggs yourself!
Beautiful house in beautiful setting. The views are incredible and the atmosphere of the place is very relaxing, quiet and rural. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of roosters and pigeons.
The room was a good size and very clean. The staff were agreeable and the breakfast provided was generous.
Santana is a very nice place to end up after a busy day exploring the island.
The hosts are warm hearted people, they gave me fruits from the farm & local cake for free.
The apartment is located at a quite village, it is big & well equipped, for example washing/ dry machine, hair dryer, baked oven, iron etc.
I don’t have a car, but I went running/ trekking every day. There are many nice trails. 2 supermarkets just need few minutes walk.
The price is totally reasonable. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful place to stay! The gardens, the home, the proximity to the viewing platform and sea. I really enjoyed my stay. I felt very comfortable and welcome at all times. I can't believe guests were offered fresh vegetables from the garden and eggs from the farm's own hens. Perfect stay. Thank you so much.
The house is very spacious, the interior is rustic but charming and the garden is beautiful. It's a great starting place for levada walks, going to santana, or for driving up to pico ruvio. 4+ people can easily stay there.
Rustic vibes in this remodeled country house. Gated property with parking in a small town. Spotlessly clean. Spacious and comfy. The separate kitchen and living space is pretty cool! Pool was open late October for the braver ones in our group 😁🥶. Car is necessary, but there is a cool viewpoint and a protected swimming spot near by.

Clean room, fresh towels, pleasant staff, and we had a great view of the mountains from our window. They had everything we asked for and more. We even washed and dried our clothes there
There are plenty of parking places, shops, parks, farmacy, cafés and restaurants around and you can easily walk everywhere in Santana.
Felt like home, definitely coming back.

The house is in a very quiet natural area close to hiking routes. You can easily get to Queimadas or even hike to Pico Ruivo if you like challenges without getting into your car. It has a garden all for yourself with subtropical plants. The house was very clean, cozy with nice furniture and rustic decor. The kitchen is fully equipped including an electric stove and all appliances seemed new. There's good wifi and cable TV even with English language channels. You can park your car on the property.
Beautiful rural setting with amazing views, easy to reach (on a winding road, right by a bus stop). Nice big common room with fireplace to sit and relax. Good breakfast was included. Friendly staff in the restaurant where you check in. Good-sized room with a rustic feel (good use was made of OSB-boards), comfortable bed.
