Set in Ponta do Pargo, in the west side of Madeira Islands Region, 35 km from Funchal, Casas da Levada boasts an outdoor pool and views of the sea. Free private parking is available on site. We stayed at Casas de Levada as a family of 4 and loved our stay there. The place is a great combination of charming rustic touches with a modern flair. Our kids loved roaming around the grounds checking out the bunnies and cats. We loved having breakfast in the cute kitchen with the fresh food provided and relaxing by the fireplace at night. On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

Everything! We had a perfect stay at Casas de Pedra. Our small house had everything we needed plus more and is so cosy and nicely decorated. The property with the garden is so beautiful and quiet. I was positively surprised that full service was provided - everything was cleaned perfectly every day and the breakfast is placed in the fridge so you can have it in your own time. Best stay in Madeira!

The place is amazing, nice view, nice garden with the possibility of picking some fruits. The kitchen is fully furnished, and we were warmly welcomed by the host. The place was perfect for my family, my son played a lot with the cats and the goats, we fed the chickens, we had a lot of fun. It is also in a strategical position, close to Funchal, Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol etc, but of course a car is needed.

Do all your shopping before arrival as the next supermarket is some way to go.

We had a great time in Paraíso Resiliente, specially loved the beautiful garden at the entrance of the house, we felt we were in the jungle. During the stay, they offered for free the vegetables, fruits and eggs that they produce locally in the house, they were so good!
