This was out favourite place in Madeira. The owner did a fantastic work and renovation. A true gem for the agriculture tourism of the island. Spectacular 360 view of the mountaints. Super clean and quiet luxury made with good taste. Modern sauna and pool at your convenience, best way to relax after ling hikes. Well though details. Breakfast was good but for dinned you have to eat at the restaurants outside by the port (5m away with car). Friendly staff and local products

Casas da Levada ligger i Ponta do Pargo på Madeiras västra sida, 35 km från Funchal. Här erbjuds en utomhuspool och utsikt över havet. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. We felt so relaxed staying at Casas da Levada. The pool was cold so we loved jumping in after warm hikes. The hobbit house bar is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and overall you feel so immersed in nature.

On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

Self-catering breakfast was a hit - We had everything needed delivered every day and we could prepare it when we wanted - especially useful when you want to leave early to avoid crowd on trails.

The perfect villa for any budding explorer looking to enjoy the natural beauty that Madeira’s landscape has to offer, or fire safety enthusiast looking for the gold standard in both prevention and cover (should the silent assassin come knocking). Where should we start? Correct extinguishers; clearly labelled, easily accessible, all within close proximity of the hazard identified. Fire escapes clear from obstruction and surprise surprise, correctly signposted. Please also note the independently powered lighting in this escape route, a touch that didn’t go un noticed. Manual alarm points, correctly installed and labelled no more than 1.4m from the ground and fully serviceable (we checked). Fire blankets conveniently stored next to cooking hazards and what’s more, with English instructions. At no point during our stay did we feel our safety was being compromised by lousy fire safety protocols or unserviceable equipment. We slept soundly, knowing everything had been done to protect us.. because we all know… fire doesn’t sleep.

Quinta Terezinha erbjuder en balkong med utsikt över bergen, en trädgård och grillmöjligheter, och ligger i Ribeira Brava i närheten av Praia do Lugar de Baixos och 2,9 km från Praia da Ribeira Brava.... The place is amazing, nice view, nice garden with the possibility of picking some fruits. The kitchen is fully furnished, and we were warmly welcomed by the host. The place was perfect for my family, my son played a lot with the cats and the goats, we fed the chickens, we had a lot of fun. It is also in a strategical position, close to Funchal, Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol etc, but of course a car is needed.

Everything about this place was just perfect, from the super-friendly hosts to the beautiful river passing just outside the windows. However, it's worth noting that having a car is essential for staying at this location.
