Everything has exceeded our expectations, the scenery, facilities, staff, atmosphere, and especially the sauna. We expected a simple steam room, but it was a high-quality sauna with a "Harvia" branded heater, perfect for those looking to get a really hot sauna, but you can also choose a lower setting if that's your preference. There's a hot/cold shower in the sauna, as well as an outdoor pool to cool down after the sauna. Our stay came with bathrobes which made the stay feel even more luxurious. The atmosphere was amazing, views from anywhere within the hotel are mindblowing and the staff was super friendly. Since the hotel is a bit uphill, on our last day, the clouds were a bit lower so we woke up to what felt like having clouds in front of us, instead of above us. Relaxing at the balcony with this kind of view felt like heaven. 11/10

Casas da Levada features free WiFi. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a seating area and terrace or patio, for guests' convenience. We felt so relaxed staying at Casas da Levada. The pool was cold so we loved jumping in after warm hikes. The hobbit house bar is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and overall you feel so immersed in nature.

Quinta das Hortênsias, a property with a garden, is set in Arco de São Jorge, 16 km from Santana's traditional houses, 31 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, as well as 40 km from Girao Cape. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. The farm stay offers garden views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

Very cozy hideaway with authentic detail, good beds, cleanliness, amidst a wonderfully kept garden. Everything you would wish for a long stay is there, especially if you like peace and tranquility. The owners and staff are good people with kind hearts.

Breakfast is included in the rate and the guests are the ones preparing their own meals at their accommodation. We provide the following food for breakfast: farm eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee, cheese,ham, butter and homemade jams. Guests can also enjoy the barbecue area. The location was as depicted. Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Venue was within walking distance from locally owned restaurants, cafes, and small market. Very quaint. Locals were very friendly & receptive. The Sunday farmers' market is a must see and do

When we think of paradise we think Quinta Terezinha! This hilltop country farmhouse is the perfect retreat for relaxation and solitude. The Hosts Laura and her father are excellent from attention to details and communication skills to providing special goodies upon arrival. There are many places to see on this island but we just did not want to leave the peaceful setting of this very special accommodation. Cats come with this deal and in my opinion make this place feel like home away from home. We love, love, love Quinta Terezinha and we how you will too!
