A good location for a relaxing holiday in Port Waikato, Te Karaka Lodge is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. Everything is perfect about this place. The road from Auckland to the property was a bit rocky but totally worth the trouble. It is such a quiet relaxing hideaway and this is what I have always envisioned of NZ. Aaron and Danielle are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcomed and at ease the whole time. The dinner prepared by Chef Dom is also superb. Have to come back again for a longer stay!

Situated in Waihi in the Waikato region, Waihi Gold Alpacas 1 or 2 people has a balcony. Boasting private check-in and check-out, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The sunrise and view took my breath away! It is such a beautiful setting, and it was good fun to help feed the alpacas. I didn't want to leave!

28 km from Hamilton Gardens in Ngaruawahia, Perma Ridge Farmstay offers accommodation with access to a hot tub and spa facilities. It was a kids adventure playground - trampoline, swings, spa pool and swimming pool, chickens, strawberries, etc. We had a lovely time!
