Hardly any traffic after sunset (the property is about 6km from the town). We woke up to the sound of birds greeting the new day (which is early and therefore, maybe, not to everyone’s liking). The owners are exceptional people; they welcomed us warmly and treated us like family. Even got a tour of the farm and were able to meet their cows. Maybe we were lucky, but both the sunsets and sunrises were spectacular.

This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. we absolutely loved our time on hunts farm. the cabin is lovely and spacious, and the setting is just beautiful- stunning views and farmland all around, yet a v short drive in to town. the cabin was very quiet and had everything we needed, and the hosts were super friendly and welcoming, would 100% recommend

Very tidy, great location and the bowl of fresh fruit on the way in was a fantastic gesture. Having met up with the Labradoodle and their owner (one of the hosts) after dinner out we were even happier with our choice.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Port Waikato, Te Karaka Lodge is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. Had a wonderful stay at Te Karaka Lodge, Aaron and Danielle were amazing hosts and Franz cooked very delicious food! It is isolated out in the countryside and exactly what we were looking for some time to unwind, it was amazing to see all the stars as we luckily has clear sky's our second night. Everything is new and a high standard, beautiful design inside. We also loved Steve the friendly cat.

All the facilities are stylish and high spec, and everything is pristine clean. If you’re able to get up around 7.30/8am, you can help Neil feed the family’s alpacas and goats. And there are fantail birds filling the pine trees by the room pods, and fully grown (and still alive) kauri trees on the farm; it’s very special here.

Country View Sleepout, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Hamilton, 13 km from Waikato Stadium, 14 km from Hamilton Gardens, as well as 27 km from Mystery Creek Events Centre. I booked my mum and dad in there to stay at short notice with their two dogs. They said the owner was lovely. The dogs were welcome, the rural location was perfect, and room was just right. Thank you!
