This was the best property we stayed in on our 2 week road trip around Nth Island of NZ. And we stayed at some posh places (5 Star, etc.). Blown away with this farm stay. Such a lovely people. Great accommodation with every amenity. So peaceful and relaxing. If you're visiting Waitomo caves of anywhere in the area - Stay here. It's beautiful

Featuring accommodation with a saltwater pool, Rural Gordonton Sleepout is set in Hamilton. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Waikato Stadium is 13 km from the farm stay and Hamilton Gardens is 14 km away. Nice owners. The space is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. We decided to make a detour to Hamilton for fine dining. Grateful to the owners who nicely received us even though we had booked in the very last minute.
Matamata
The farm stay is fitted with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a terrace with mountain views. A private entrance leads guests into the farm stay, where they can enjoy some fruits and chocolates or cookies. A dressing room, housekeeping service and full-day security are also available. This place was the best of all my NZ stays! It was perfect: plush (everything high quality), super clean and modern. Loved the fresh baked bread and homemade goods. Staff was wonderful. Location was beautiful and convenient.Would definitely stay here again!
Port Waikato
A good location for a relaxing holiday in Port Waikato, Te Karaka Lodge is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features a private beach area, outdoor swimming pool and private parking among other facilities. This 5-star farm stay offers full-day security and luggage storage space. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a restaurant. The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. Everything is perfect about this place. The road from Auckland to the property was a bit rocky but totally worth the trouble. It is such a quiet relaxing hideaway and this is what I have always envisioned of NZ. Aaron and Danielle are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcomed and at ease the whole time. The dinner prepared by Chef Dom is also superb. Have to come back again for a longer stay!
Waihi

Lovely friendly hosts that communicated well and provided us with excellent driving instructions to find the location. We loved that the Loft was warm and cozy and had all the comforts we needed while away from home. We were touched by the home made brownie snack left in the kitchen for us. We felt very welcomed on the farm and enjoyed our short stay very much.
Ngaruawahia
28 km from Hamilton Gardens in Ngaruawahia, Perma Ridge Farmstay offers accommodation with access to a hot tub and spa facilities. Great hosts, very helpful (I had problem with my car and I got all help which I needed urgently), very clean place. A clean compact cottage with every thing we needed for a relaxing stay and a comfortable nights rest in a rural setting. A large range of items available for breakfast with the most oblivious been scrambled eggs with farm fresh eggs. A safe place to park the ute over night with a load of 'items' collected in Papakura. Robert could be contacted by both phone and text seemily at any time.
Had family feeling with Coleen and Clive. The breakfast comes with personal touch. Farmstay and animal feeding experience. Really it felt like staying in family/friend's house as once we return Coleen asked about the day...Clive give tips for activities nearby. The pancake they made was delicious.

Lovely spot, far enough away from town to be quiet and peaceful, yet only a few minutes drive to Ngaruawahia. Great family run farmstay, our dog had a fantastic time playing with the families dog in a fully fenced backyard, would happily recommend!!,
Beautiful B&B in a gorgeous rural location. The family were so friendly and welcoming and our son loved playing with their children. Being able to feed the animals on the farm was such a nice touch. The bedrooms were comfortable and the breakfast provided was very nice.
Lucia and Stew were fantastic hosts. Great coffee, scenery and chat. Welcoming and very friendly. Setting was rural and wonderful to stay on a Kiwi farm

It was a lovely rural property on small acreage. I stayed in the farmhouse, which was very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I would certainly return and stay longer. Robert welcomed me warmly. Everything was perfect.
