Sleek, modern décor and comfortable rooms can be enjoyed at Puerto Mercado Hotel, 100 metres from Mercado del Puerto Cultural Centre. WiFi is free. The room was clean,comfortable and serviced daily.Sleep quality was excellent.The location was perfect-in the heart of the Ciutad Vieja and close to all the sights there.I want to compliment the staff who were most helpful-Francisco,Oscar and Reuben,as well as the excellent ladies who prepared breakfast each morning... Top marks....10 out of 10.

Since April 1st we moved to a new, more modern, 6-story building located in the Old City, close to the main tourist attractions of the city. Really big, nice amenities, nice people, nice employees. Overall excellent value.

Located 100 metres from Montevideo’s historic, financial, and commercial centre, this design hotel features self-catering accommodation with sea views and free Wi-Fi. Good room size, great location had everything we needed. Kitchenette is just a kettle/fridge/sink.

My wife and I stayed at the Puertovideo apartments (one bedroom apt) for five nights in October 2024. We were absolutely delighted with the place! The area looks a little sketchy, especially when we arrived at the weekend. However, we soon realized that most of the streets in the old town looked the same and we had no problems coming and going, day or late at night. It reminded us of midtown New York. The location was perfect, with all the old town attractions within walking distance. The Apt was gorgeous, very modern, spacious and had everything we needed. All the appliances were new, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Dirk (the owner) was in touch with us well in advance of our stay, and the lovely Betha took care of us from check-in. They were very friendly, helpful, very responsive, and we lacked nothing over our stay. All in all, great value for money and a great place to stay in Montevideo!
