Only 200 metres from Solis Theatre, Hotel Palacio offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV in central Montevideo. The Harbour Market in the old city is 1 km away. Great character property in the Ciudad Vieja. The hotel is in an older, well-maintained building in a central location. Nice room and we paid a bit more for a private terrace - fun splurge for a night. The room was well-lit and had a safe, which you wouldn’t expect for the price. No breakfast, but coffee was available in the morning. Loved the atmosphere.

Since April 1st we moved to a new, more modern, 6-story building located in the Old City, close to the main tourist attractions of the city. The building is beautiful, with different rooms for socialising, the room was comfortable and clean, there were organised activities in the evenings and a big kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all the needs and requests.

Located 100 metres from Montevideo’s historic, financial, and commercial centre, this design hotel features self-catering accommodation with sea views and free Wi-Fi. Great location, two blocks from the waterfront and central to the old city. Several nice design touches in the room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and quite helpful staff. My son got bit by a dog in Buenos Aires and needed to get his third rabies vaccine in Montevideo. The staff made phone calls for us and found out the hospital we needed to visit to get his vaccine and the hours they were open for this. She was a real life-saver in a complicated situation for us. Would gladly stay here again.

Don is an exclusive boutique hotel with art deco architecture and contemporary interiors. Really cool location right opposite the fantastic old market. The room was beautiful. Stunning in a supercool designer kinda way. Super comfy bed. Great omelette. Wonderful staff member on reception.

Located in Montevideo, Puertovideo provides accommodation with rooftop pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The beds are great, the kitchen has the kitchenware you need, a very friendly and helpful owner, there is a supermarket just round the corner, Sarandi (pedestrian street) is just 3 blocks. It is a very safe place to stay.

Located in Montevideo, near Solis Theatre and Independencia Square, Habitación privada en apto cat friendly is a recently renovated property, featuring, a terrace and shared lounge. Very friendly. A lover of cats (8) but they never bothered me.
