It’s very convenient if you come with Buquebus.

Sleek, modern décor and comfortable rooms can be enjoyed at Puerto Mercado Hotel, 100 metres from Mercado del Puerto Cultural Centre. WiFi is free. It is a basic and well maintained hotel. Ruben in reception and the lady attending the breakfast were very helpful and friendly.

Only 200 metres from Solis Theatre, Hotel Palacio offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV in central Montevideo. The Harbour Market in the old city is 1 km away. I liked the historical atmosphere. The room was very clean. The location was perfect for a tourist. Many things within walking distance.

Since April 1st we moved to a new, more modern, 6-story building located in the Old City, close to the main tourist attractions of the city. To be honest probably the best looking hostel I've ever been, while travelling to over 30 countries... Almost felt like a bit too good haha

The room from this Hotel is amazing, definitely a really good one to consider if traveling alone or with your partner. I recommend this stay for couples, waking up in those rooms give you a good sense of comfort. Even though I recommend it for couples, I must say it is not the most romantic place, since it's accommodations are also used for business.

Don is an exclusive boutique hotel with art deco architecture and contemporary interiors. Centrally located, with the Mercado del Puerto right across the street. At night this area boasts some nice terraces for a drink and simple dinner. Staff extremely nice and helpful. The rooftop pool with view on the harbour was the cherry on the cake

Boasting a shared lounge, FAUNA Montevideo is situated in Montevideo, less than 1 km from Independencia Square. The manager/owner was exceptional the property was well maintained and giving drinks available for those who used it was nice and fresh fruit was very welcomed helping with my luggage was great since there were stairs to get to my room. Lovely area of OLD TOWN Easy to find restaurants and tour by foot
