Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and features gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. We appreciated the helpfulness of the staff at the registration counter, especially when we ran into minor card issues; they were patient and efficient in resolving the matter. The decor, done in warm colors, made us feel comfortable and at home right away. The bathroom was a highlight with its advanced electronic equipment, showcasing the innovative side of Japan that we’ve always heard about — it surely left us questioning bathrooms elsewhere. The location is unbeatable, with the hotel situated right at Tokyo Station, it felt like we had access to not just Tokyo, but all of Japan, especially with our JR Pass allowing us unlimited train rides. Despite the bustling activity with around 4000 trains passing through daily, the hotel was surprisingly silent, ensuring a peaceful stay. The unique Japanese breakfast experience was delightful and a perfect start to our mornings. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and Tokyo Station Hotel is a place we’d love to revisit.

Located in Tokyo and with Taira no Masakado's Grave reachable within a few steps, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi has concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. I loved the tea sets served in The Lounge. The room was great. The concierge was very helpful. Great place to stay.

Opening in August 2013, Super Hotel Premier Tokyo Station Yaesu-Chuoguchi is ideally located just a 3-minute walk from JR Tokyo Shinkansen (bullet train) Station. Very clean, roomy, and there were free alcohol options in the lobby.

Marunouchi Hotel is a minute's walk from Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit and a 10-minute taxi ride from Tsukiji Fish Market. Everything!! The staff was amazing, the rooms where good a really good location!!

Offering modern rooms with free WiFi and wired internet access, Ryumeikan Tokyo features a restaurant with panoramic city views. The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Station. Beautiful hotel that has a combination of western and Japanese flair. Western style sleeping area with raised bed, but lounge area is Japanese style with tatami and cushions. About 3 minutes away from Tokyo station, 1 minute away from Nihombashi subway station. Quiet and restful hotel even in the middle of the city. Room is spacious relative to Japanese standards. Generous amenities in the room including Sekkisei cleaner/moisturiser samples, toe separators for nail polish, cuticle cream, small snacks, Nespresso machine and pods. 2 sets of pyjamas in the room, yukata and long robe style. Elevator was quick. Staff was friendly and provided warm towels to wash hands when checking-in. One washer and dryer per floor. If you go during Sakura season, the street in front of the hotel is lined with them. Close to the Nihombashi Sakura Fes street, so you can go by foot.
