Ideally set in the Bunkyo Ward district of Tokyo, Section L Yushima-Ueno is located a 6-minute walk from Kamezumiinari Shrine, 700 yards from Shitamachi Museum and a 6-minute walk from Kyu-Iwasaki-tei... The staff was great! We noticed that they were of different nationalities and they speak very good English which was very helpful. Communicating with them was easy. They were also very accommodating. They even booked taxi services and received packages for us. :)

Staff speaks English and there are quite a lot useful Tokyo information inside the hostel. Rooms can be western or Japanese style, which is basic but in line with the price that you paid for. Breakfast is toast bread with butter / jam and coffeee / tea. There is a cafe attached and you can pay extra for additional food at a reasonable price.

Perfect if you want a laidback feels of Japan, still very accessible to Train station both JR and subway, and some restaurants. Our pick when we went to Tokyo Dome. They change towels everyday and provide coffee cups. I enjoyed and liked the breakfast, the staff are friendly eventhough some of them cannot speak in english.
