My wife mentioned that it was my birthday and I was left a very sweet message in my room. We purposely chose this location to be away from the more busy areas of Kyoto. Logistically, it worked perfect. There is a grocery store across the street. Taxis were easy and convenient and we were also able to walk to the Philosopher’s Path and other areas easily.

Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13436 asub Kiotos, vähem kui 1 km kaugusel Heiani pühamust ja 14-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel Eikan-do Zenrin-ji templist. Yuki san and Tadashi san are very accommodating, and super nice. Tadashi san even went to a nearby event at the same time as us and was sweet enough to translate for us when we didn't understand directions. The facilities are very nice and very good value for money. The hosts also have very thorough and in my opinion very good advice for local hikes/attractions and restaurants! And the view of the temple from the western style room is phenomenal.

Attractively situated in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Tassel Hotel Sanjo Shirakawa is located 600 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1 km from Heian Shrine and 1.3 km from Gion Shijo Station.... The location was serene and quiet and the staff was lovely.

Heian No Mori Kyoto asub Heian Jingu pühamust 10-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Kohapeal on avalik saun ning Jaapani ja Rootsi laua stiilis restoranid. Very convenient location, bus stop right outside with lots of buses that go all over the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Black out curtains so got a good night sleep. Comfortable room and very clean. Picked the random room option and got a twin.
