My wife mentioned that it was my birthday and I was left a very sweet message in my room. We purposely chose this location to be away from the more busy areas of Kyoto. Logistically, it worked perfect. There is a grocery store across the street. Taxis were easy and convenient and we were also able to walk to the Philosopher’s Path and other areas easily.

El Minpaku Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13436 se encuentra en Kioto, a 500 metros del santuario de Heian, y ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis. Yuki san and Tadashi san are very accommodating, and super nice. Tadashi san even went to a nearby event at the same time as us and was sweet enough to translate for us when we didn't understand directions. The facilities are very nice and very good value for money. The hosts also have very thorough and in my opinion very good advice for local hikes/attractions and restaurants! And the view of the temple from the western style room is phenomenal.

El Tassel Hotel Sanjo Shirakawa, situado en Kioto, a 500 metros del templo Shoren-in, ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado y bar. The location was serene and quiet and the staff was lovely.

El Hotel Material ofrece habitaciones con wifi gratis en Kioto, a 800 metros del santuario Heian. It’s exactly like the photo. Very comfortable very spacious! I especially loved going to the roof top to take in views of the skies.

El Heian No Mori Kyoto se encuentra a 10 minutos a pie del santuario Heian Jingu y cuenta con baño público y restaurantes japoneses y buffet. Very convenient location, bus stop right outside with lots of buses that go all over the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Black out curtains so got a good night sleep. Comfortable room and very clean. Picked the random room option and got a twin.
