Location is very convenient and 5mins to subway station. The hotel looks new and sleek modern designs. Our room is twin bed with sofa and small table and chair. I like the toilet, bath tab and basin area are separate and the layout is well designed and efficient to use. The lounge is very comfortable with sofa, tables and music on they also provide guests with free coffee, tea bags, juice and hot water , room temperature water and ice cubes.

The public bath and the meditation rooms were great for relaxing after a long day of walking around the city.

Open from November 2018, located in Kyoto and 500 metres from Kyoto International Manga Museum, MIMARU Kyoto Shinmachi Sanjo has rooms with free WiFi access. We love Mimaru for its family sized rooms. Ample beds and movement areas with a nice kitchenette. The hotel is safe as the main doors locks at night. We stayed in the deluxe japanese room which is 60m2, perfect for a family of 4 with grown up children

This was an exceptional hotel. It was probably the most thoughtful hotel I've stayed where everything was perfectly presented or provided. Yes it's not 5 stars but it just got all of the amenities and basics so completely correct that I just feel this is the best complete showing for a hotel I've ever experienced. Ah.. I miss kyoto!
