Very comfy, bathroom is big, location is perfect, close to shopping streets and Nishiki market. Imperial palace is also at a walking distance, metro is right around the corner, the area is calm.

Well situated in the Nakagyo Ward district of Kyoto, MIMARU SUITES Kyoto Central is set 1.5 km from Nijo Castle, 1.2 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall and 1.8 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. Our room happened to be ready early and we were allowed to check in around 1pm. We received excellent recommendations for food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We’d ordered a Christmas gift for our child and the package was received by the hotel. When the staff on duty found out that the package was a Christmas gift, she went the extra mile and dressed up as Santa Claus and delivered the gift to our room! It was a lovely gesture and a wonderful surprise for our child. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent facilities and attentive service.

Convenient location to trains and buses to get around Kyoto. The staff are friendly and speak English well, which was helpful for us. The room is spacious and clean. Loved that it had a washer dryer! We booked this hotel for the washer dryer to reduce the amount of clothing to pack. The beds are comfortable, each side having their own charging station, and the bathroom has sliding doors to give you privacy or an open layout feel. The hotel is beautiful, the amenities were great, and it is noise-proof. We didn’t hear anything from neighboring rooms or outside during our stay.

Everything. It had a walk in shower and bathtub. We were in a family room and there was a walk in closet. It was really big the room. The staff was also great. It was environmental friendly but possible to have things if you asked for it. There was a welcome note and origamy when you came at the desk. It was exceptionally clean.
