It was very clean and warm. I also love the view from the window in the room. The staff was very nice and helpful. You can also have delicious breakfast while enjoying the beautiful morning view through the window in dining room.

I hesitated at first because this lodge looked far from center based on the map. Little did I know Eric, the host, provided personalized shuttle service anywhere within Hakuba for free from early morning to late at night to ski resorts, dinner and more. Our friend stayed at ski in/ski out in Happo and regretted his decision. Eric made sure we were fed, had our reservations for dinner because we are a big group, bought our train tickets to Kyoto, and ship our luggages on time. We’ve traveled to many countries, stayed at airbnbs to 5 star hotels and nothing measured up to our experience at this lodge. We felt we underpaid him for the extremely spacious, clean and beautiful rooms and the services he provided. One of the highlights of our trip.

Pension Ringo-no Ki is a completely non-smoking property located in Hakuba. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. There is a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers on site.

Located just a 5-minute walk from Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort, Marushige provides cosy accommodation with Japanese-style guestrooms, a dining area and shared bath. A ski supply room and drying room are available on site, and WiFi is offered throughout the property. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was home-made traditional Japanese, with some Western-style food available, e.g. ham & eggs, cereal.

A 5-minute drive from Hakuba Happoone Ski Resort, Pension Belnia offers cosy accommodations and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

The air conditioned rooms have carpeted floors, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a refrigerator. Each comes with slippers and free toiletries. Taka the host of Belnina is the star of the operation, so warm friendly and down to earth makes you feel like you are a friend staying at his home. Location is convenient to restaurants, bars and snow shuttle. I will be back.

A 15-minute drive from Pilatus Ski Resort, chalet-like Nomanomori offers quaint Western rooms. It features a garden with a terrace, free Wi-Fi and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Breakfast features home-made breads. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Free WiFi is available at the entire property and guests can reserve a private open-air bath overlooking the forest. A free shuttle is available from JR Hakuba Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. Forest views are available from the 2nd floor of the accommodation. Great stay. Host was very kind and gave us a lift to and from the main bus terminal on check in & out

We have a variety of beautiful and well appointed chalets, located in prime areas centered around the Happo ski resort in Hakuba. All quiet but convenient locations close to restaurants, ski slopes and shuttle bus stops. Forest or mountain views and plenty of fresh, clean mountain air! Fully equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, streaming channels and top quality mattresses for a comfortable nights sleep. Very clean and comfortable home.
