Newly renovated in 2016, Uchimaru Hakuba offers simple Western-style non-smoking rooms with mountain views and private bathrooms. Free WiFi is provided throughout the lodge. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Each morning they cooked us breakfast. I also needed a ride one day early before the bus ran and they were kind enough to drop us off. They also drove us and helped us fill out the forms for Yamato. Every day my room was cleaned and everything was spotless. After this review I'm going to email to check on availability for 2025! I can't wait to go back and stay here again. Also the bus stop is right across the street which makes it very easy going to and coming back from the mountains.

Pension Ringo-no Ki is a completely non-smoking property located in Hakuba. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. There is a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers on site. Everything was exceptional! From breakfast to the room to the bath - all amazing!

Featuring a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen, Hakuba Powder Cottage offers self-catering accommodation just a 20-minute walk to Happo-One Ski Resort. Great accommodation for a family.. Spacious and good location - really close for the buses to the slopes and Echoland restaurants. And Nick was really helpful if we needed, even giving us a lift to the supermarket to stock up. Fantastic.

A 5-minute drive from Hakuba Happoone Ski Resort, Pension Belnia offers cosy accommodations and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Taka and his wife are brilliant hosts. My family and friends have been coming here over the years and it was a highlight to stay here. The Onsens are fantastic after a day on the slopes, as well as relaxing in the cosy lounge room. Can't wait to be back!

A 15-minute drive from Pilatus Ski Resort, chalet-like Nomanomori offers quaint Western rooms. It features a garden with a terrace, free Wi-Fi and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. We loved our stay at Pension Tomato. The host was really kind and picked us up from the train station in Hakuba. Along with this, when dropping us off after our stay, he stopped at the Yamato centre so we could send ski bags to the next accomodation, a huge help. We stayed in the 6 bunk lodge, fantastic. The amenities were very, very clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent. Spacious enough, with a nice area to relax in and kitchen bench to make easy meals. We also utilised the in-house onsens - a great choice as they were incredibly relaxing and peaceful after a ski, really clean and nice tranquil forest views. There are multiple, bookable for mixed or non-mixed onsens. The breakfast which you book the day before is great too. A few minutes walk from the main echoland strip and rental place for ski/snow gear. That’s where shuttles for Happo-One and Hakuba 47 stop too, so convenient to get to the mountains in the morning.
