Backcountry Lodge Hakuba bevindt zich in Hakuba, op 2,6 km van skigebied Tsugaike Kogen en 49 km van station Nagano. WOW WOW WOW…I cannot explain in words how wonderful this lodge is, but I will try nevertheless Communication: From the time that we made the booking until we left the lodge the communication was exceptional. Eric sent us details on the best way to travel from the airport to the lodge, gave us a list of recommended restaurants and offered to make the bookings on our behalf. We arrived at the lodge at 2h30 am and Eric was there to welcome us. We had a what’s-up group chat with Eric wherein we let him know when we wanted to be collected from ski fields and restaurants. Food: We are spoiled with an amazing, cooked breakfast every morning. The breakfast was different each morning for the week that we were there. We also had 24/7 access to tea/coffee/hot chocolate and snacks. Transport: We did not have a car and were taken to and from the ski fields & restaurants for dinner each day. We were also taken to a supermarket to stock up on supplies for the week when we arrived. The lodge and our room: The lodge is beautiful and immaculately clean. Our room was beautiful with our own bathroom, comfortable bed, with a small fridge and coach. The lodge has a large drying room for snowboarding and skis. Fireplace: The lodge has an amazing open fire in the lounge where we spend many evenings just chilling out after a big day on the slopes. The lodge is dog-friendly and several guests brought their dogs with them. Thank you for a wonderful 5-star holiday 😊

Sakka Sanso heeft een restaurant en accommodatie met een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een bar. Skigebied Tsugaike Kogen ligt op 9 km. Zowel WiFi als privéparkeren is bij de lodge gratis toegankelijk. Super leuk verblijf gehad! Heel lief personeel en een schattige typische Japanse kamer. De warmte baden die je kon gebruiken waren echt heel fijn! Zou het 100% aanraden!

Pension Ringo-.No Ki is een volledig rookvrije accommodatie in Hakuba. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar in deze lodge. Er zijn een haardroger, gratis toiletartikelen en slippers aanwezig. Yoshi and his wife were the warmest hosts we have met after 6 months of travelling. From the moment we arrived early morning, they took care of us and went out of their way to accommodate us. The pension is very cosy, the room and beds are very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is simply amazing, so worth it! The private onsen, which can be used one hour per day, is another fantastic bonus, especially after a day of skiing. Do not hesitate to book this place, you will not regret it!

Le Bocage - Hakuba Echoland Chalets ligt in Echoland, een populair uitgaansgebied waar meer dan 30 bars en restaurants te vinden zijn. Great area, clean rooms, lots of kitchen appliances and comfy bed

Het Pension Belnina ligt op 5 minuten rijden van het skiresort Hakuba Happoone en biedt gezellige accommodatie en overal gratis WiFi. Taka the owner was awesome, and the breakfast, always delicious! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

Het chalet-achtige Nomanomori ligt op 15 minuten rijden van het skigebied Pilatus en biedt schilderachtige westerse kamers. The breakfast is excellent with home make bread and jams.

Pension Tomato ligt op 10 minuten rijden van Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort en biedt ruime kamers in westerse stijl met een loft. Love it. Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.

We hebben een verscheidenheid aan mooie en goed ingerichte chalets, gelegen in uitstekende gebieden rond het Happo skigebied in Hakuba. The house is clean, nice, spacious for my family 4 adults with 2 kids. The staffs were all very friendly. They helped us with dinner reservations and arrange for the transportation. Amenities in the house are so complete without any worries. We enjoyed cooking too. They even helped to store the proposal decoration stuffs.
