Featuring 4-star accommodation, Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels is located in Porto Moniz, 200 metres from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools and 40 km from Girao Cape. Place was lovely, very modern clean rooms, everyday cleaning service, air conditioner. We’ve been welcomed with sparkling wine and left with goodbye gift. If you have a birthday, you may count on a sweet surprise. There was a mini bar, kitchen with microwave and electric plate and small fridge, also espresso maker with excellent quality of coffee, kitchen utensils allowed for some cooking. The view showed surrounding hotel and ocean in the distance. I really enjoyed the 2 min. walk to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast because the view is amazing from there. The breakfast offered wide variety of products and meals, with porridge and some things for sandwich ( cheese, ham or marmalade/nuttella, home-made yogurt). There were also couple of positions a la carte and lots of sweet options. Coffee was also of great quality. I can’t comment on most of the meals because I am vegan and none of the meals a la carte was vegan, also it was possible to eat a sandwich only with marmalade or tomato/pepper for me the rest was just cheese and ham. I saw many people including my partner enjoyed that a lot, but if you are following vegan diet it may be cheaper to skip the breakfast option and buy yourself pack of oats and fruits because coffee is in the room anyway. However, the restaurant view was outstanding and I quite enjoyed that restaurant anyway. They always had a plant based milk so at least a porridge and fresh maracuja. The roof jacuzzi looked autor louring but I didn’t used it, bathing robes are included though as well as a daily ticket to natural swimming pools. We preferred a bit more the cachalote pools that were nearby so didn’t use the it but is is a very nice option closer to the hotel. The hotel also offers spa and massage if someone wish, as well as a little cowork area if you work remotely. WiFi was also excellent. In general, it was excellent and I would totally recommend to everyone to stay there.

El personal molt amable. L’habitació molt àmplia. El llit molt còmode. Molt ben equipat. L’esmorzar molt bo i complert.

Great location, close to everything. Very spacious comfortable apartment. Large ensuite with each bedroom. Very clean. Staff helpfully allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment when our flight time changed.

In the Santa Luzia district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Atlântico Azul features an infinity pool and a washing machine. Nice new apartments, very clean, have opportunities for parking a car, the owner helped with transfer and answered all the questions.

Set in Boaventura, 21 km from Santana's traditional houses, Terrabona Nature & Vineyards offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. The "hotel" (only 4 small villas) is in a beautiful location with outstanding views. The small villa's are very private and far from each other and beautiful as well. The bed was super comfortable, shower facilities great. Very nicely decorated unit (living room etc). Very nice pool and sauna (it was too cold for us to go in the pool). We had 2 dinners on site with the hosts that were very nice and great to meet the other guests and the hosts. The location is on the north east of the island which is the wilder part of the island. Breakfast is self-catered: you get fresh bread in the morning and have fresh eggs, cheeses, salami etc in the fridge and make your own breakfast. There is a very nice real coffee machine and ground coffee provided as well.

Offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. a real pearl. enchanting surroundings. very nice hosts who prepared everything with a lot of love and care. also chocolate, coffee, water, wine, fruits etc were provided. very quiet. great bed. amazing walks outside the door. the apartment is small but it has all you need. ideal for 1 person, also fine for 2. we will return. thank you very much for the great stay.

Casal da Penha Apartments offers accommodation within 600 metres of the centre of Funchal, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. Everything was perfect!! I highly recommend visiting the Restaurante Casal da Penha, dinner was the best eaten on the island, was definitely worth every cent. Host hospitality made you feel like home.
