Featuring 4-star accommodation, Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels is located in Porto Moniz, 200 metres from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools and 40 km from Girao Cape. Place was lovely, very modern clean rooms, everyday cleaning service, air conditioner. We’ve been welcomed with sparkling wine and left with goodbye gift. If you have a birthday, you may count on a sweet surprise. There was a mini bar, kitchen with microwave and electric plate and small fridge, also espresso maker with excellent quality of coffee, kitchen utensils allowed for some cooking. The view showed surrounding hotel and ocean in the distance. I really enjoyed the 2 min. walk to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast because the view is amazing from there. The breakfast offered wide variety of products and meals, with porridge and some things for sandwich ( cheese, ham or marmalade/nuttella, home-made yogurt). There were also couple of positions a la carte and lots of sweet options. Coffee was also of great quality. I can’t comment on most of the meals because I am vegan and none of the meals a la carte was vegan, also it was possible to eat a sandwich only with marmalade or tomato/pepper for me the rest was just cheese and ham. I saw many people including my partner enjoyed that a lot, but if you are following vegan diet it may be cheaper to skip the breakfast option and buy yourself pack of oats and fruits because coffee is in the room anyway. However, the restaurant view was outstanding and I quite enjoyed that restaurant anyway. They always had a plant based milk so at least a porridge and fresh maracuja. The roof jacuzzi looked autor louring but I didn’t used it, bathing robes are included though as well as a daily ticket to natural swimming pools. We preferred a bit more the cachalote pools that were nearby so didn’t use the it but is is a very nice option closer to the hotel. The hotel also offers spa and massage if someone wish, as well as a little cowork area if you work remotely. WiFi was also excellent. In general, it was excellent and I would totally recommend to everyone to stay there.

Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Funchal. Hotellet var over all forventning! Personalet var veldig opptatt av å gå den ekstra mil for oss. Rommet var rent og luktet godt. Hotellet serverer ikke frokost (som passet oss godt siden vi liker å spise frokost på lokale kafeer - som det finnes masse av i området). Men de henger en pose med ferskt bakverk på døren hver morgen som alltid var veldig hyggelig. Vi kunne også bestille hva vi ville fra restauranten som tilhørte hotellet til rommet eller til takterrassen uten problemer. Ved innsjekk ble vi vist rundt på hotellet av en serviceinnstilt og hyggelig mann (Marciel?). Vi kunne kontakte resepsjonen døgnet rundt hvis vi hadde spørsmål om transport, byen eller ønsket mat-tips. Nydelig basseng og loungeområde på takterrassen. Vi var heldige med været og hadde en hviledag på takterrassen en av dagene hvor man har panoramautsikt over fjellet, byen og havet. Dette området var eksklusivt for hotellgjester og vi var helt alene hele dagen (men det var massevis av plass til flere).

Dette restaurerte herskapshuset ligger 900 meter fra gamlebyen i Funchal på Madeira og har vakker utsikt over sjøen, byen og fjellene fra terrassene og sin egen botaniske hage. Fantastic gardens, great views of the hills and sea..convenient for the buses to get into town with bus stops right outside. Beautiful breakfast every morning. Staff always helpful with any enquiries and special thanks to Manuela for arranging car hire with car dropped directly to the car park.

Conveniently set in the Se district of Funchal, King David Suites by Madeira Sun Travel is located 400 metres from Marina do Funchal, 13 km from Girao Cape and 39 km from Santana's traditional houses.... Property itself is brand new, pleasant to be in. The facilities given were great. Staff was super attentive, always checking on us and providing quick answers to our concerns. As we went to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks, we were delighted with the location. Plenty of restaurants and activities to do. Would definitely recommend it to everyone visiting Funchal.

Situated within less than 1 km of Marina do Funchal and 14 km of Girao Cape, Tanoeiros Residence by An Island Apart features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Funchal. Super cozy, well equipped, clean apartment. Shower with good strength and lots of hot water that is very important after big cold hikes in the mountains. Location is great, right next to bus stop and 5-10 minute walk to the pier, to the center, to all the amazing restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the window nook. It's next to a tiny street that has some street parking available most of the time. We didn't have a problem.

Attractively situated in Funchal, Living Funchal iNN is a recently renovated apartment, which features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The location was in right at Old Town Funchal, walking distance to the harbour, restaurants and coffee shops. If you rent a car, there is a huge parking spot in the backyard.

Featuring a patio with quiet street views, a garden and a shared lounge, Panoramic House can be found in Quinta do Almeida, close to Lugar de Baixo Beach and 3 km from Ribeira Brava Beach. In the Santa Luzia district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Atlântico Azul features an infinity pool and a washing machine. It was spotless, we appreciate the cleanness a lot. Great view, medium size swimming pool which you have for yourself most of the time.

Set in Boaventura, 21 km from Santana's traditional houses, Terrabona Nature & Vineyards offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. A gem in Madeira We travel throughout the world, in many countries and places and Terrabona Nature and Vineyards is set in the most beautiful and unspoiled part of the island. The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful forest and incredible mountains. The property is amazingly maintained. The Villas are luxurious, beautifully designed, perfectly integrated into the landscape with views of the vineyard, the valley, the mountains, and nearby the ocean. We can hear the sound of the river, the birds. At night the sky is magical with so many stars. The pool and sauna both have gorgeous views. Each morning a selection of fresh baked breads are delivered to you and a well stocked fridge is refreshed every day with farm fresh eggs, cheese, homemade jams, fruit, meats, and more. We also had a wonderful dinner with wine pairing. The best meal we had on vacation was here. The wine of the property is delicious. Maria and Marco are lovely hosts and care for their guests. They close attention to every last detail. They go out of their way to make you feel at home, the staff is great. They are helpful, generous, and friendly. The best hosts ever we met! Set in Salão and only 6.4 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, Los Amantes de la naturaleza. Offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely welcome, well equipped kitchen, easy to check in and out with the key box, at the and of the street there is an amazing sunset viewpoint. Absolutely recommended.
