We had a wonderful 11 day stay in Madeira at Andre’s place. This is not a scam listing, and I’m sorry that it was reviewed as such. We took Andre up on the offer of the car, and it was indispensable. The listing is exactly as pictured, was immaculate and the view is beyond amazing. The location is great for getting around the island, and was totally away from the touristy areas. It was however walking distance to shops and cafes. Andre went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met, and could not have been a more gracious host.

Lovely Tania and Celio received us with a basketful of veggies freshly cut in the fields surrounding the villa, situated high above the sea, giving an amazing view of the ocean in a sound of birds and silence, almost unreal knowing the airport is at only 10 km (15 min) and the highway at 2 km (2 min). The villa is fully equipped and decorated with taste. The beds, bathroom, kitchen are perfect. Tania and Celio are available for 24/7 support.

We chose this place to explore the east side of the island and it was a perfect staring point for all the places we wanted to visit. The neighborhood is nice and calm, parking was available right in front of the building. The place was very clean and tidy. Great views from the big balcony where we enjoyed our mornings and evenings. Special praise to Miguel (owner), who is a really great guy. He gave us tips on where to eat and some recommendations on destinations to visit that you don’t find on google. Would recommend for everybody!

I had a really nice stay here. The apartment is very big, and very clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. The location is perfect for avoiding the hustle and bustle of downtown. There is a grocery store very close by, and a fantastic affordable sushi restaurant within walking distance. I was a little worried about finding parking, but it was actually very easy. There was always a free spot available somewhere very close.
