Set in Santa Teresa Beach, 400 metres from Santa Teresa Beach, Surf Paradise offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Surf Paradise was a very nice Hostel. It was very close to the beach and exactly as shown in the pictures. If you are looking forward to meeting new interesting people, shared sunset memories and joyful conversations, that's the place to be. We also were very impressed by how welcoming and helpful the hosts were. It was a wonderful place we would certainly return to.

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. The value for money is the best. The fact that they let you use the hot springs of a much more expensive place is amazing but even without this fact the breakfast, the location, the personnel, the pool area - everything is great.

Featuring an extensive garden, a sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free Wi-Fi throughout, this hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Arenal Volcano National Park and from La Fortuna... The hotel was a "horizontal" complex in that all rooms were at ground level with just two rooms per building and the buildings are scattered throughout the property. As the rooms were on ground floor the view was limited, I guess because of privacy concerns by just stepping out the the door the the Arenal volcano is right in front of you, an amazing view! The breakfast was a well stocked buffet and the a la carte restaurant was also very good. For a less formal atmosphere we tried the excellent Sushi bar at the pool that is open til 10pm. (There is also a pizza place but we didn't try them). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tours are available at the hotel and we took one to the volcano and another to jungle tour with suspension bridges. Both were good but we preferred the jungle tour. The thermal water hot pool was a great place to relax after hiking and sightseeing. If you have a car and feel a little adventurous the "Rio Celeste" in the Tenorio Volcano National Park is worth the trip. Its about 90mins from the hotel but be aware that the walking trail in the park is about 5 to 6 Km to take in all the viewing points and places can be uneven. To get to the waterfall there are perhaps 200 steps down (and then back up again!)

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. Everything was excellent -- the staff was super friendly and kind , we even asked to have a different bungalow and the receptionist, lovely Alejandra, could find us a room that was higher up the hill like we wanted :)) The cleaning ladies were lovely and made sweet animal designs with our towels, the restaurant and bar staff were very warm and kind, the breakfast buffet was great , the views of the volcano were excellent, the overall quality of our room was amazing, also the fact that the rooms were bungalows guaranteed privacy and quiet --- all in all we were very pleasantly surprised with everything ! !

Set in Providencia, 42 km from Manuel Antonio, Hotel Savegre features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. The valley is beautiful and the property has many hiking trails and an extensive garden with many birds. Food is good but there are other good restaurants nearby. They offer tours to search for the Quetzal. I didn't use them as I had seen them before and saw them again on my own

Everything. Location, and staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Great surroundings and super clean

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. I loved this accommodation: perfect location (walking distance to restaurants, very safe at night, view of Arenal volcano), great breakfast (three options), very helpful staff (arranging taxis, also I couldn't pay at check-in because my MasterCard was blocked by Worldline and they were very unstanding until the problem was solved), ...
