Fresh coffee was available every morning and drinking water throughout the day. He helped me with everything I needed during my stay and was very supportive during my checkout when I almost missed my flight. The hotel is within walking distance from everything in Puerto Viejo and offers free safe parking space. My room was safe and quiet, the air conditioner was working perfectly, and cleaned every day. I would definitely choose it in case of returning to Puerto Viejo!

We had a wonderful time and stayed longer although it was raining because all the staff, especially Ines were exceptionally friendly and helpful. And the food was always delicious.

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. Crazy place! What a view, what a sound, really living nature. The most beautiful place we were in Costa Rica. The breakfast was excellent, a very tasty omelet that is prepared on the spot according to choice. We had a problem with the hot water but the service team solved it for us immediately and there was boiling water! Highly recommend the place.

This was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica. It has an amazing view of the volcano from the balcony. The food was good, including the breakfast which was such a convenient option in the morning. And the owners and employees were excellent professionals while also being friendly. A recommendation for those staying here. Take a sloth tour with Armando. Do it because sloths are very cool and it’s interesting to see them in a natural environment. But do it with Armando because the man has the craziest sloth spotting abilities. I can’t decide if the sloths or Armando’s spotting abilities were cooler. It was a great time. And Armando might show you some cool tips on taking photos.
