This is a fantastic place, the views and sunsets are amazing. The room and facilities are impeccable, highest standard and sparkly clean. The staff is super nice and extremely helpful. They helped us organizing a guide to the Cloud forest (who was fantastic too) and gave us a lot of other helpful information and pointers.
The location is slightly outside the center of Santa Elena on a ridge overviewing the rolling hills and the Nicoya peninsula. The sun sets right in front of the rooms which have fantastic windows and terraces to enjoy the view from. The bed was huge and super comfortable. The food in the restaurant is great too.

100 % Aventura zipline with Tarzan jump was awesome, rappling was a disappointment as we thought it would be going down waterfall but was just jumping on the trampoline.
Dinner at Bon Appetit in Santa Elena was great, good food and excellent service.
Night tour was a big disappointment

Monteverde is a great place to stay for nature tourists that are wanting to experience a legitimate cloud forest. I've been several times and absolutely love it. I would suggest not only visiting some of the several nature reserves, but also the orchid garden and the frog zoo. Oh yeah! try to find a night tour, also. A lot of the most interesting animals are nocturnal.

Such a beautiful culture and land. The cloud forest is magical and the guides are passionate about sharing what makes it unique and about preserving it. The falls at El Tigre are an absolute must, and Los Pinos Cabins offer one of the most memorable and relaxing accommodations I've experienced in recent years.

Mo reverse was a beautiful place to visit, nice restaurants/bars/shops, it is very hilly (bring it’s up a mountain). Lots to do whilst there. We used Treetop’s a to go zip lining and high bridges walk, they were very professional and made sure your safety was top priority.

The room is very comfortable, modern and clean, everything you need. Silent at night, we slept very well. Cosy garden.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Very good information about everything you can do in Monteverde. They help to organize your trip and transport so easily, they arrange a bus pick up and drop off in front of the hotel.
Delicious breakfast menu (options include gallo pinto, pancakes, eggs, homemade bread, tortilla, …)
There was a warm welcome from the owner. He also explained what was there to see and do in the area. He also offered help with booking the tours.
The location is great, and everything is within easy reach, both Park Monteverde as well as the town of Santa Elena. And right in front of the hotel is a beautiful view of the Golfito with beautiful sunsets.
Loved our stay in Monteverde. Really friendly helpful staff, clean b&b and good breakfast.
Basic facilities but everything you need and Hot water. We loved sitting on balcony watching the rajnbows and birds. Very central to town.

Amazing spot in Monteverde! We stayed for two nights. It's the perfect location. Easy walking distance to dinners and shopping. Central spot to visit cloud forest or other adventures. Breakfast was great and the staff were very kind!! We will definitely be back!
