Apartotel La Sabana is located 1.5 km from central San José and offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access, breakfast included with the rate and an outdoor pool. Good location to relax & recharge after long flight. Comfortable bed & pillows & nice sheets. Hot water shower. Good food & choice for breakfast. Food also available till 8pm. Club sandwich was excellent Staff were all friendly & helpful. Nice pool area with sunbeds, didn't use the pool but water was clean,at time of our stay, just a bit cold unless full sunshine to warm up after swimming. Would recommend

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. Fantastic location and very quiet. Walkable to restaurants and shops, and tours pick up from reception or there is plenty of off street parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Great breakfast in a nice area around the pool with view of volcano. Really pleasant vibe and feels like you're not in the centre of the town. Use of Volcano lodge hot pools was an added bonus.

Centrally located in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca town centre and just a 3-minute walk from Salsa Brava Beach, Hotel Indalo adults only features an extensive garden, sun terrace and free Wi-Fi. Gonzales was very friendly and nice ! When booking cancelled our room somewhere else, we really didn’t had a place to stay, and he did everything to help us , and even drove us with his bike to the place, because there wasn’t any taxi or Uber! The place was also very nice, we loved in general our stay at Indalo! We will forever be grateful and definitely come back!

Facilities amazing, staff really polite and well trained, hot spring really good, breakfast amazing, swimming pool excellent. Wonderful stay!

Set in Fortuna, 5.7 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Monara offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Armando and Angela were incredible. This has to be one of my favourite places to stay. The bed was comfortable, amazing views of the volcano from the balcony and incredible complimentary coffee. Armando's night tour was brilliant as well as his sloth tour. The breakfast at the sister hotel was lovely with beautiful views of the volcano and bird watching. I will definitely return! Thank you
