At Akaokan, guests can relax in the spacious public hot-spring baths and visit the Historic Villages of Shirakawa-gō and Gokayama, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, situated a 20-minute drive away. We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast with dinner was very delicious. Our room was cozy and clean. Check-in and check-out were easy. Highly recommended!

Located in the Gokayama hot-spring area, Gokasanso offers Japanese and Western-style accommodations with a flat-screen TV. Nice service, and they have hot spring also. If you stay in gokayama, I recommend you should have dinner in booked hotel, becuz there is no restaurant open until 3pm...

Daibutsu Ryokan se găsește în localitatea Takaoka din regiunea Toyama, la 48 km de Castelul Kanazawa și la 48 km de Grădina Kenrokuen, și oferă o grădină. Beautiful little Ryokan with japanese breakfast, big rooms and small onsen. Hiking to Himi was a great experience.

Kurobe UnazukiOnsen Togen se află în Kurobe, la aproximativ 44 km de Toyama-kō și la 8 minute de mers pe jos de Defileul Kurobe. Quiet and perfect for weekend get-a-way. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will consider coming back next year.
