The location is hidden between the mountains next to a beautiful temple. Since it is not accessible by public transportation, they offer services to and from the station. They also drove us to the Adachi Museum.

NIPPONIA Izumo Taisha Shrine Town ligger i Izumo, 3,3 km från Hamayama Park och 10 km från Masakigaoka Park. There were so quiet and peaceful and the staff was so kind.

The food was delicious, cooked by a professional chef. The location was in an ideal area, on the most and it was the most photographed street in Matsue. It was close to all the main museums and the Castle.

Onsen Guest House Aobato no Su erbjuder boende i Matsue, ett stenkast från Tamatsukaruri Onsen. WiFi är gratis i alla utrymmen. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. Alla rum har en platt-TV. Amazing. There was free shuttle to the nearest JR station. We didn't book the shuttle beforehand but we were able to take it anyway. The breakfast was amazing and the location is very good. Very close to the bus stop which we had to take because JR operations were suspended due to heavy rain. Value was so good.

Hotel Gyokusen ligger i Matsue, 5,4 km från Shinjisjön, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. This was a luxurious treat and we all enjoyed it from the welcome by the general manager, the hot spring bath, the food, the room. One of our group had a massage which was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was an amazing buffet of Japanese and Western dishes. The hotel provided transport by shuttle bus to and from the hotel. Communications via booking.com worked well.

Fukumakan har en nästan 200-årig historia och erbjuder rum i japansk stil och fristående stugor. Vissa har utsikt över Miho Bay. A real discovery: Mihonoseki is a special place, a fishermen's village away from everything and still quite convenient to reach. I stayed at one of the Fukumakan annex houses. A beautiful old Japanese house, perfectly maintained with all conforts one might need. Lovely views of the port from the first floor. Breakfast and dinner are also a special treat in Japanese fish cuisine. Highly recommended
