What a place, when we arrived we were first a little concerned about the isolation...but when we realised where we were staying and what we had access to...it was great to be isolated there. Everything was awesome, the food was next level, we only ate off the Sri Lankan menu and are very glad we did. The room was lovely, the pool very relaxing and the staff very helpful. Having a shuttle to Lion Rock at 0500 in the morning helped beat the crowds and heat and when we finished, the driver had cool water and cold towels, a nice touch. Would love to stay here again one day.

The hotel manager, Mr. Sumith is an amazing person with a great sense of hospitality. He is extra helpful with anything that we needed. The whole area is very quiet and perfect for becoming one with the nature.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was truly outstanding (so far the best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka). The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the balcony offered a stunning view. In the morning, you can hear the beautiful chirping of birds from the balcony, making it a perfect way to start the day. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the pool due to the rain, but it is in excellent condition! Special thanks to the lovely lady who took great care of us and brought many smiles to our faces.

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Offered to help to arrange tours and transport if needed but not pushy at all.

I arrived around noon and followed the route suggested by Google maps from Kandy road to the property. The route went adjacent to a serene lake, a small ground and some giant rocks. The hospitality was beyond superior. Room was large with clean linen, adequate toilettaries and a kettle. It's located at less than a kilometer from the amazing Cave temples, so one can just walk by. Dinner was the best I had till date in Srilanka. Also, they prepared breakfast quite early since I had to leave early. The hosts were extremely accommodating and very kind. They also managed to drop me off at bus station in morning. Overall, it was everything that one could ask for.

The hotel features an outdoor pool and facilities for tennis, volleyball and badminton. Our stay at this hotel was an excellent experience. The service was incredibly friendly and warm-hearted, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. A special mention goes to Hashani at the reception, whose service really stood out, though the rest of the staff were also lovely and accommodating. Our room was clean and spacious, with a unique touch—a beautiful outdoor shower creatively integrated into the space. We were especially grateful for the unexpected room upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise and made our stay even more memorable. The buffet was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making dining at the hotel a delight. The location was good, especially when traveling with a driver. It made it easy to explore the surrounding areas without any hassle. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we left with great memories. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and hope to visit again in the future!
