Loved the vibe, very chilled and beautiful grounds/buildings. Lovely pool area. Staff very friendly and attentive. Nice big room with outdoor seating area too. Food was good! Helped us with booking an elephant safari, definitely recommend! Really great stay, shame about the rain!

Preethika and Kalika are the best hosts you could ever ask for. Like that aunt and uncle you never had. Traveling during Covid can be complicated and stressful. From before the trip started, Preethika was all over the admin side and made sure everything ran smoothly. Particularly the airport transfer which was a dream especially after a long journey. When we got to the hotel, the team made us feel welcome right away with fresh cold juice and a warm greeting. Our 7-day stay was flawless and all our stress from back home just melted away. Both Kalika and Preethika run the hotel out of passion for nature, good hospitality and people. Their 9.8 score (highest we've ever seen) is a testament to how much they put into everything they do. Nastanitev Chena Huts Eco Resort je v mestu Sigiriya, 2,2 km od znamenitosti skala Sigiriya, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter teraso. Me and my friends had the best week at the Chena Huts. After this place all the other places we stayed seemed like a downgrade. Amila is literally the perfect host, jis family is very sweet, mom is the best cook. Amila is very attentive to all of our requests, he organised dinners, allowed us to be included in the cooking process, helped us with our laundry, even took us on trips around his village, rice fields, showed the local temple... The huts itself were very spacious, had mosquito nets, hot shower. Well looked after, comfortable beds. We could see Lion's rock just from our balcony. There were huge amount of birds and other animals surrounding us, so animal lovers will really like this. 110% recommend this place! We will never forget this experience <3

Immersed in pristine nature, the hotel impressed with fantastic, spotless rooms and an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast. The exceptionally nice staff went above and beyond, notably shipping an item we left behind to Colombo. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

I spent 2 nights at Girilena Resort, and was very satisfied with my stay. The bed was comfortable (with a mosquito net), room was spacious, breakfast was amazing, and the hosts were the best! From the moment I arrived in Dambulla, Dilshan (the manager) was amazing. He helped me with any queries I had, helped plan day trips,provided transportation whenever I needed, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience in general. I felt very comfortable staying here as a solo female traveller, and would highly recommend Girilena Resort :)

Sigiri Forest View is located in Sigiriya. The accommodation will provide you with a balcony and a seating area. There is also a dining table. The host was extremely helpful. He recommended and helps arranged activities for us. He even offered to drive us for more than 5 hours to our next destination. Other than that, the place was clean and the meal there were cheap and delicious. And its only 15 minutes walk from here to the Pidurangala Rock. Definitely recommend everyone to stay here when coming to Sigiriya.

Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection is set amidst lush tropical foliage. Situated just opposite Sigiriya Rock, the resort boasts an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and 4 dining options. The staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. They anticipated our requests and checked in on how our day was at dinner and whether we needed anything. I have stayed at some bigger name hotels whose staff have not done this, meaning we have had to call reception or make a trip to reception to organise trips or request something for the room etc. Not the case at Aliya. We organised our entire Pidurangla climb at the dinner table between courses with their helpful staff who gave us tips and organised transport for us. The pool was beautiful. The grounds are extensive and so peaceful. There are nature trails and pottery to try. The food was great for all meals with plenty of choice. The room was large enough for the three of us. Only thing that was missing was an iron and ironing board but I am sure we could have requested from reception. Overall a stay that exceeded our expectations and a hotel that looks better in real life than in photos! Would definitely recommend and stay again!
